1. Introduction

The HARPPA Pack and Play 5-in-1 is a versatile and portable solution designed to adapt to your child's growth and your family's needs. It seamlessly transitions between a gentle rocking cradle, a safe sleeping crib, a convenient diaper-changing station, and a stimulating activity center. This manual provides essential information for safe and proper assembly, operation, maintenance, and care of your HARPPA Pack and Play.

2. Safety Information

Your child's safety is paramount. Always adhere to the following safety guidelines:

• Certified Safe: This product adheres to strict ASTM standards, ensuring your baby’s safety.
• Always use the provided firm safety belts and ensure soft edge bumpers are correctly positioned.
• Ensure all wheels are locked when the playard is stationary.
• The top tier supports newborns up to 20 pounds. The spacious lower level accommodates up to 33 pounds, ideal as your toddler approaches three years.
• The changing area is secure for use up to 6 months or 20 pounds.
• Never leave your child unattended in the playard or on the changing table.
• Discontinue use if any part is broken, torn, or missing.
• Do not use accessories or replacement parts other than those approved by the manufacturer.

3. Parts List

Before assembly, ensure all the following components are present:

4. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps for proper assembly of your HARPPA Pack and Play. A detailed video guide is also available below.

4.1. Unfolding the Playard

1. Release the Velcro on both sides of the mattress and unfold it.
2. Pick up the playard and keep it vertical, pulling the sides apart.
3. Press the center base on the bottom of the playard, elevate the four handrails, and ensure they are securely locked.

4.2. Installing Mattress Brackets (for Bassinet Mode)

1. Insert the two mattress brackets on either side into the designated slots.
2. Then, place the mattress on top of the installed brackets.

4.3. Installing the Storage Bag

1. Attach the storage bag to the side of the playard using the integrated clips.

4.4. Attaching the Diaper Changer

1. Insert the two brackets into the back of the diaper table.
2. Attach the diaper table to the playard. It can be flipped aside when not in use.

4.5. Assembling and Installing the Music Toy Bar

1. First, connect the main support arm of the toy bar.
2. Then, connect the mobile arm with the hanging toys and music box.
3. Finally, insert the assembled music stand into the designated slot on the playard.

4.6. Installing Rocking Tubes (for Rocking Bassinet Mode)

1. After placing the playard down, install the two rocking tubes to the bottom.
2. Ensure they are securely attached to allow the playard to rock gently.

4.7. Converting to Bedside Sleeper Mode

1. Unzip one side of the playard.
2. Press the buttons on each end of the side rail to lower it.
3. Secure the bottom zipper to keep the side lowered.
4. To raise the side, close the zipper and press and hold the buttons on each end to lift up to merge.

5. Operating Modes

The HARPPA Pack and Play offers five distinct modes to support your child's development and your convenience:

• Full Size Playard: A perfect safe space for play and snack time, featuring breathable and visible mesh sides and a side zipper door for easy access.
• Bedside Bassinet: Ideal for newborns and breast-feeding mothers, allowing the bassinet to be positioned right next to your bed with adjustable heights and fastening straps for security.
• Detachable Changing Table: Equipped with waterproof fabric and a safety lock, plus a removable storage rack for diapers and essentials.
• Rocking Bassinet: Provides a gentle rocking motion to lull your baby to sleep.
• Travel Bed: Designed for simple travel, it sets up quickly without tools and includes a carrying bag for portability.

6. Maintenance

To keep your HARPPA Pack and Play clean and in good condition:

• Cleaning: Wipe with a damp cloth. For tougher stains, use mild soap and water, then rinse thoroughly.
• Drying: Allow all components to air dry completely before folding or storing to prevent mold and mildew.
• Inspection: Regularly inspect all parts for wear, tear, or damage. Ensure all locking mechanisms are functioning correctly.
• Storage: When not in use, fold the playard and store it in its carrying bag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your HARPPA Pack and Play, please refer to the following common solutions:

• Difficulty Folding/Unfolding: Ensure the center base is fully lifted/pressed and all side rails are unlocked/locked. Sometimes a firm, quick motion is needed. Refer to the setup video.
• Side Rails Not Locking: Make sure the playard is fully upright and the center base is not pushed down. The side rails must lock into place before the base can be fully lowered.
• Wobbly Frame: Double-check that all four side rails are securely locked and the center base is fully extended or lowered, depending on the configuration.
• Music Box Not Working: Check if the music box requires batteries (though specifications state 'No' for batteries required for the product, some accessories might). Ensure it's correctly attached and wound if it's a wind-up mechanism.
• Missing Parts: If any parts are missing upon unboxing, contact HARPPA customer support immediately.
