2. Important Safety Instructions
WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, observe the following:
- Read all instructions before using this heater.
- This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces.
- Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 meters) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
- Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
- Always unplug heater when not in use.
- Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
- Do not use outdoors.
- This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas, and similar indoor locations. Never locate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
- Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
- To disconnect heater, turn controls to OFF, then remove plug from outlet.
- Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
- To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
- A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable liquids are used or stored.
- Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
- Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
- This heater includes an automatic tip-over safety switch and overheat protection. If the heater tips over or overheats, it will automatically shut off.

4. Product Overview
Familiarize yourself with the components of your Lerat M338 heater:
- Control Panel: Located on the front base, featuring touch buttons for power, mode, oscillation, and timer.
- Air Outlet Grille: Front grille where heated air is expelled.

5. Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove the heater from its packaging. Retain packaging for future storage.
- Placement: Place the heater on a firm, level surface. Ensure there are no obstructions within 3 feet (0.9 meters) of the front, sides, and rear of the heater.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord directly into a 120V AC, 60Hz wall outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.
- Initial Check: Ensure the heater is upright and stable. The tip-over safety switch requires the unit to be on a flat, stable surface to operate correctly. If the heater is tilted, it will not power on or will shut off automatically.
6. Operating Instructions
Control Panel Functions:
- ① Power Button: Turns the heater ON/OFF.
- ② Mode Button: Cycles through heating modes (Low Heat, High Heat, Fan Only).
- ③ Oscillation Button: Activates/deactivates the 70° oscillation function.
- ④ Timer Button: Sets the auto-off timer (1-12 hours).
Basic Operation:
- Power On: Press the Power Button (①). The heater will start in a default heating mode.
- Select Mode: Press the Mode Button (②) repeatedly to cycle through the available modes:
- H1 Low Heat (700W): For gentle, continuous warmth.
- H2 High Heat (1500W): For rapid heating of larger areas.
- Fan Only Mode: Circulates air without heat, suitable for year-round use.
- Activate Oscillation: Press the Oscillation Button (③) to enable the 70° wide-angle oscillation, distributing heat more evenly across the room. Press again to stop oscillation.
- Set Timer: Press the Timer Button (④) to set the auto-off timer. Each press increases the timer by 1 hour, up to 12 hours. The heater will automatically shut off after the set time. To cancel the timer, cycle through until no timer indicator is lit, or turn the heater off.
- Power Off: Press the Power Button (①) to turn off the heater. The fan may continue to run for a short period (approx. 30 seconds) to cool down the heating elements before completely shutting off.

7. Maintenance
Cleaning:
- Always unplug the heater and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces of the heater.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Do not immerse the heater in water or allow water to drip into the interior.
- Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to gently remove dust from the air inlet and outlet grilles.
Storage:
- Store the heater in a cool, dry location when not in use.
- It is recommended to store the heater in its original packaging to protect it from dust and damage.
