Setup

1. Install Batteries

Gently twist the top cover of the detector counter-clockwise to open it.
Insert two AAA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
Replace the cover and twist clockwise until securely closed.

2. Pair with X-Sense SBS50 Base Station

The SWS0A detector requires an X-Sense SBS50 Base Station (sold separately) to function and send app notifications. Follow the instructions provided with your SBS50 Base Station to add new devices.

Ensure your SBS50 Base Station is powered on and connected to your Wi-Fi network.
Open the X-Sense Home Security app and follow the in-app instructions to add a new device.
The detector will automatically connect to the base station when in range.

3. Optimal Placement

Place the detector in areas prone to water leaks. Its compact size allows for placement in:

Under sinks
Near water heaters
Behind toilets
Under dishwashers or washing machines
In basements or wine cellars
Near windows or pipes

Ensure the detector is placed on a flat surface where water would first accumulate. The long-range wireless connection allows for flexible placement throughout your home, up to 500 meters from the base station in open areas.

Leak Detection and Alerts

When the X-Sense SWS0A detector senses water, it will trigger an alert sequence:

The LED indicator on the detector will flash red.
The connected SBS50 Base Station will emit an audible alarm up to 100 dB.
You will receive an instant notification on your smartphone via the X-Sense Home Security app.

Alarm Volume Control: Adjust the base station's alarm volume.
Mute Alarms: Temporarily silence alarms from the app.
Alarm History: Review past alarm events.
Snooze Function: Temporarily disable alerts for 10 minutes, 30 minutes, 2 hours, 6 hours, or 12 hours.
Device Test: Perform a test to ensure the detector is working correctly.

Maintenance

Battery Replacement

The detector's batteries typically last up to 3 years. When the battery is low, you will receive an alert via the X-Sense Home Security app. Replace the batteries promptly to ensure continuous protection.

Twist the top cover counter-clockwise to open the detector.
Remove the old AAA batteries.
Insert two new AAA alkaline batteries, observing correct polarity.
Close the cover by twisting clockwise until it clicks into place.

Troubleshooting
