Setup: Installation Instructions
This dimmer switch is designed for easy installation and does not require a neutral wire, making it suitable for both new and existing electrical installations. Please follow these steps carefully:
- Disconnect Power: Before starting, ensure the main power supply to the circuit is turned off at the circuit breaker. Verify with a voltage tester.
- Remove Old Switch (if applicable): Carefully remove your existing switch from the wall box.
- Connect Wiring: Connect the Live Wire and the Load Wire (to the lamp) to the corresponding terminals on the dimmer switch. This switch works with only a live wire; no neutral wire connection is needed.
- Mount the Dimmer: Secure the dimmer switch into the wall box using the provided mounting screws.
- Attach Faceplate: Carefully attach the glass faceplate to the dimmer mechanism.
- Restore Power: Once installation is complete and all connections are secure, restore power at the circuit breaker.
Important: Do not install this device with power connected. Always cut off the power when wiring.

Adjusting Minimum Brightness
For optimal performance with certain LED lamps, you may need to adjust the minimum brightness level to prevent flickering or ensure stable low-level illumination. This can be done using a small yellow screw located on the side of the dimmer module.
- To decrease the minimum brightness, turn the yellow screw clockwise.
- To increase the minimum brightness, turn the yellow screw counter-clockwise.
- If the light flickers at low settings, try increasing the minimum brightness slightly.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Light does not turn on. | No power supply; incorrect wiring; faulty bulb; dimmer switch failure. | Check circuit breaker. Verify wiring connections (Live and Load). Replace bulb. If problem persists, consult an electrician. |
| Light flickers or hums. | Incompatible bulb (not dimmable); minimum brightness setting too low; loose connection. | Ensure bulbs are dimmable. Adjust the minimum brightness screw (refer to "Adjusting Minimum Brightness" section). Check wiring connections. |
| Dimmer does not adjust brightness. | Incompatible bulb; dimmer switch failure. | Ensure bulbs are dimmable. If problem persists, consult an electrician. |
| Dimmer feels hot. | Overload; poor ventilation. | Ensure total wattage of connected bulbs does not exceed the dimmer's maximum load (500W resistive, 80W LED). Ensure adequate air circulation around the switch. The dimmer has built-in overtemperature protection. |
