1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the JoFomp LCD Digital Wall Clock. This device provides clear digital display of time, date, and temperature, designed for versatile placement in various environments. Please read this manual carefully to ensure proper setup and operation.

2. Safety Information

  • Do not expose the clock to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or high humidity.
  • Avoid dropping the device or subjecting it to strong impacts.
  • Use only specified battery types (2 x 1.5V AAA). Ensure correct polarity during installation.
  • Remove batteries if the clock will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
  • Keep out of reach of children.

4.1 Display Functions

The clock's display is divided into sections for easy readability:

  • Time: Large digits for hours and minutes.
  • Date: Displays month and day.
  • Temperature: Shows the ambient temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit.

4.2 Back Panel Components

The back of the clock features control buttons and mounting options:

  • '+' Button: Used to increase values during setting.
  • '-' Button: Used to decrease values during setting.
  • Gear Icon (Set Key): Used to enter setting mode and confirm selections.
  • Hanging Holes: Two holes for wall mounting.
  • Desk Stand: A retractable stand for tabletop placement.
  • Battery Compartment: Holds 2 x AAA batteries.
  • USB Port: For external power supply.

5. Setup

5.1 Power Supply

The clock can be powered by two methods:

  1. Battery Power: Open the battery compartment on the back of the clock. Insert 2 x 1.5V AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -). Close the compartment.
  2. USB External Power: Connect the provided USB cable to the USB port on the back of the clock and plug the other end into a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a USB port.

Note: The USB cable can power the clock directly. It does not charge batteries. If using batteries, ensure they are fresh for optimal performance.

5.2 Initial Settings (Time, Date, Temperature Unit)

After powering on, the clock will display default settings. Follow these steps to set the correct time, date, and preferred temperature unit:

  1. Press and hold the Gear Icon (Set Key) button on the back of the clock for approximately 3 seconds to enter setting mode. The display will start flashing.
  2. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the flashing value (e.g., hour).
  3. Press the Gear Icon (Set Key) button again to confirm the current setting and move to the next setting item (e.g., minute, year, month, day, 12/24 hour format, temperature unit °C/°F).
  4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until all desired settings are configured.
  5. Once all settings are complete, the clock will exit setting mode automatically after a few seconds of inactivity, or you can press the Gear Icon (Set Key) one last time to save and exit.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Changing 12/24 Hour Format

In normal time display mode, briefly press the '+' button to toggle between 12-hour (with AM/PM indicator) and 24-hour formats.

6.2 Changing Temperature Unit (°C/°F)

In normal time display mode, briefly press the '-' button to switch the temperature display between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F).

7. Placement Options

The JoFomp LCD Digital Wall Clock offers flexible placement to suit your needs:

  • Wall Mounting: Use the two hanging holes on the back of the clock to securely mount it on a wall using appropriate fasteners (screws, nails, not included).
  • Desktop Placement: Pull out the retractable desk stand located in the battery compartment on the back of the clock. Place the clock on any flat surface.

8. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the clock surface with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Battery Replacement: When the display dims or functions become erratic, replace the AAA batteries. Ensure both batteries are replaced simultaneously with new ones.

9. Troubleshooting

Buttons are unresponsive or difficult to press.Internal mechanism issue; debris.Ensure buttons are free of debris. If issues persist, contact customer support.
