5. Setup and Installation

5.1 Connecting to a 24V Battery System

1. Ensure the inverter is turned OFF and disconnected from any AC loads.
2. Connect the red battery cable to the positive (+) terminal of the 24V battery.
3. Connect the other end of the red cable to the positive (+) terminal on the inverter.
4. Connect the black battery cable to the negative (-) terminal of the 24V battery.
5. Connect the other end of the black cable to the negative (-) terminal on the inverter.
6. Ensure all connections are tight and secure to prevent arcing or overheating.

Important: Use appropriate gauge cables for your installation to handle the current draw. The included cables are suitable for typical applications, but longer runs or higher loads may require thicker cables (not included).

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Powering On/Off

1. After securing all battery connections, press the ON/OFF switch on the inverter to turn it on. The LCD display will illuminate.
2. To turn off the inverter, press the ON/OFF switch again.

6.2 Using the LCD Display

The LCD display provides real-time information about the inverter's status:

• Battery Capacity: Shows the remaining charge in your battery.
• Battery Voltage: Displays the current DC input voltage.
• Output Frequency: Indicates the AC output frequency (e.g., 50Hz or 60Hz).
• Output Voltage: Shows the current AC output voltage (e.g., 110V or 120V).
• Load Capacity: Illustrates the percentage of the inverter's capacity being used.

Error codes (E-1 to E-6) will also be displayed for various protection triggers (low input voltage, high input voltage, over temperature, overload, short circuit, repeated faults).

6.3 Connecting AC Appliances

Plug your 110V/120V AC appliances into the 4 standard AC outlets on the inverter. Ensure the total wattage of your appliances does not exceed the inverter's continuous power rating (4000W).

6.4 Using the Wireless Remote Control

The included wireless remote control allows you to turn the inverter ON or OFF from a distance, which is convenient for installations in hard-to-reach locations like RV cabinets or truck beds. Insert a 12V 23A battery (not included) into the remote before use.
