1. Product Overview

The VECYS Cube Ice Maker (Model IC1503) is a premium countertop ice machine designed for convenience and efficiency. It offers a daily ice making capacity of up to 34 LBS and features a self-clean function, making it suitable for various settings including home kitchens, bars, and offices.

• Use only potable water in the ice maker.

3. Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the ice maker from its packaging. Retain packaging materials for future transport or storage.
2. Placement: Place the ice maker on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is at least 6 inches of clearance around the unit for proper ventilation.
3. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, clean the interior of the ice maker. Refer to the "Maintenance" section for detailed cleaning instructions.
4. Water Supply Connection: The IC1503 offers three water supply methods:

   • Manual Water Addition: Open the top lid and pour potable water directly into the 4.0L internal water reservoir.
   • Bottled Water (under 5L): Place a compatible bottled water dispenser (under 5 liters) onto the designated slot on top of the unit.
   • External Water Source: Connect the ice maker to an external water supply line for automatic water inflow and outflow. Ensure all connections are secure to prevent leaks.
5. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.

4. Operating Instructions

First Use and Ice Production:

1. Add Water: Ensure the water reservoir is filled using one of the three methods described in the Setup section.
2. Power On: Press the "ON/OFF" button on the control panel to turn on the ice maker.
3. Select Ice Size: Press the "SELECT" button to choose between small or large cube ice. The indicator light for your selection will illuminate.

4. Start Ice Making: Press the "START" button. The ice maker will begin its cycle. Each cycle produces 24 cube-shaped ice pieces and takes approximately 18 minutes.
5. Ice Collection: Once ice is produced, it will drop into the ice basket. The "ICE FULL" indicator will light up when the basket is full.
6. Important Note: This machine is designed for ice production, not long-term storage. Ice cubes will melt if not used quickly. Transfer ice to a freezer for storage.

Control Panel Indicators:

• SELECT: Button to choose ice cube size (Small/Large).
• START: Button to begin the ice making cycle.
• ON/OFF: Button to power the unit on or off.
• LOW WATER: Indicator light that illuminates when the water reservoir needs refilling.
• ICE FULL: Indicator light that illuminates when the ice basket is full.

5. Maintenance

Self-Clean Function:

The VECYS Cube Ice Maker features an automatic self-clean function for easy maintenance.

1. Ensure the water reservoir is filled with clean water.
2. Press and hold the "ON/OFF" button for more than 5 seconds to activate the self-cleaning mode.

3. The machine will perform an internal cleaning cycle. Once complete, drain the water from the reservoir.

Regular Cleaning:

• Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the ice maker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Interior: Regularly clean the water reservoir and ice basket. Use a mild detergent and warm water, then rinse thoroughly. Ensure all parts are dry before reassembly.
• Descaling: If mineral deposits build up, use a descaling solution suitable for ice makers or a mixture of water and white vinegar. Follow the product instructions for descaling.
