2. Safety Guidelines
Your safety is paramount. Always adhere to the following guidelines:
- Wear a Helmet: Always wear an approved bicycle helmet that fits properly.
- Pre-Ride Check: Before each ride, inspect brakes, tires, battery level, and ensure all quick releases are secure.
- Obey Traffic Laws: Follow all local traffic laws, signs, and regulations.
- Visibility: Use the integrated LED headlights and rear taillights, especially during low light conditions. Wear reflective clothing.
- Weather Conditions: Exercise caution when riding in wet or slippery conditions. The IP67 waterproof rating protects the bike from splashes, but it is not designed for submersion.

4. Assembly & Setup
The S1 Pro comes mostly pre-assembled. Follow these general steps for final setup:
- Unfold the Bike: Carefully unfold the frame and secure the locking mechanisms. Ensure the handlebar stem is upright and locked into position.
- Install Pedals: Attach the folding pedals to the crank arms. Note that pedals are typically left (L) and right (R) specific and thread in opposite directions.
- Install Front Basket: Secure the front basket to the designated mounting points.
- Adjust Seat Height: Adjust the seat post to a comfortable and safe riding height. Ensure the quick release is firmly tightened.
- Charge Battery: Fully charge the battery before your first ride. Refer to the "Battery Management" section for details.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Powering On/Off
To power on the bike, insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the 'ON' position. The LCD display will illuminate. To power off, turn the key to the 'OFF' position.
5.2 Riding Modes
The S1 Pro offers three riding modes:
- Pedal Mode (Off): When the electric bicycle is turned off, it functions as a traditional bicycle, requiring pedal power.
- Pedal Assist Mode (PAS): When the electric bicycle is turned on, this mode provides motor assistance as you pedal. The level of assistance can be adjusted via the controls on the handlebar.
- Full Electric Power Supply Mode: When the electric bicycle is turned on, this mode allows for throttle-only operation without pedaling.

5.3 LCD Display
The HD LCD display provides vital information including speed, battery level, and trip distance. Familiarize yourself with the display readings before riding.
5.4 Braking
The S1 Pro is equipped with dual mechanical disc brakes for reliable stopping power. Apply both brake levers smoothly and evenly to slow down or stop. Avoid sudden, harsh braking, especially at high speeds or on slippery surfaces.
5.5 Folding Mechanism
The S1 Pro features a convenient folding design for easy storage and transport. To fold the bike, locate the folding latch on the main frame and handlebar stem. Follow the instructions in the quick start guide for proper folding and unfolding procedures. Ensure all latches are securely engaged before riding.

6. Battery Management
The S1 Pro is powered by a 48V 20AH removable battery, offering a substantial range.
- Charging: Use only the provided charger. Connect the charger to the bike's charging port or directly to the removed battery. A full charge typically takes 5 hours.
- Battery Care: Avoid completely draining the battery. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when not in use. For long-term storage, charge the battery to about 50-70% every 1-2 months.
- Range: Expect up to 31 miles on pure electric mode and over 40 miles with pedal assist, depending on terrain, rider weight, and riding style.

7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your e-bike.
- Tires: Maintain proper tire pressure (refer to tire sidewall for recommended PSI). Regularly check for wear and punctures. The 14-inch armored tires are designed for durability.
- Brakes: Inspect brake pads for wear and brake cables for tension. Adjust or replace as needed.
- Chain: Keep the chain clean and lubricated to ensure smooth operation and prevent rust.
- Fasteners: Periodically check and tighten all bolts, nuts, and quick releases.
- Cleaning: Clean the bike with a damp cloth. Avoid high-pressure washing directly on electrical components.
