5. Setup
5.1 Placement
Place the projector on a stable, flat surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit. The 270° rotatable design allows for flexible placement, including ceiling projection.
5.2 Power Connection
- Connect the power adapter to the projector's power input port.
- Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet.
- The power indicator light will illuminate.
5.3 Initial Setup
- Press the power button on the projector or remote control to turn it on.
- The projector will automatically perform keystone correction.
- Adjust the focus manually if needed using the focus ring on the projector.

6.1 Connecting Devices
The Pericat K12 offers multiple connectivity options:
- HDMI: Connect to laptops, gaming consoles (PS3/PS4, X-Box), TV boxes, or Fire TV Stick for high-definition video and audio.
- USB: Plug in USB memory sticks to play media files directly.
- Wi-Fi 6: For wireless screen mirroring from smartphones, tablets, and PCs. Navigate to the Wi-Fi mirroring function in the projector's menu and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Bluetooth 5.4: Connect to external Bluetooth speakers or headphones for enhanced audio.
- AV: Use the AV port for older devices (cable not always included).
Note: For streaming services like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, or Disney+, a Fire TV Stick or similar streaming device is required as the projector does not have Android TV built-in.

6.2 Image Adjustment
- Automatic Keystone Correction: The projector automatically corrects trapezoidal distortion. For fine-tuning, manual adjustment options may be available in the settings.
- Focus Adjustment: Rotate the focus ring on the projector lens until the image is clear.
- Zoom Function (50%): Use the remote control to adjust the screen size from 100% down to 50% without moving the projector. This is useful for fitting the image to your screen or wall.

7. Maintenance
7.1 Cleaning the Lens
Use a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for optical lenses. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
7.2 Cleaning the Projector Body
Wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn stains, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by a dry cloth.
7.3 Storage
When not in use for extended periods, store the projector in a cool, dry place, away from dust and extreme temperatures.
