5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Mode Selection
Use the 'MODE' button on the control panel to cycle through the different welding processes (MMA, Lift TIG, Flux Core MIG, Gas MIG, Aluminum MIG). For MIG welding, select between SYN (Synergic), 2T (Two-Touch), and 4T (Four-Touch) modes based on your welding preference and application. SYN mode automatically adjusts settings for optimal performance.
5.2 Parameter Adjustment
Adjust the voltage and amperage/wire feed speed using the respective knobs on the control panel. Refer to the table below for recommended parameters based on welding wire diameter and material thickness. Fine-tune settings as needed for your specific welding task.
| Welding Wire Diameter | Plant Thickness | Adjust Current | Adjust Voltage |
|---|---|---|---|
| FLUX 0.8 CO2/MIX 0.8 | 1.0-2.0mm | 40-80A | 16-18V |
| 2.0-3.0mm | 80-120A | 18-20V | |
| 3.0-5.0mm | 120-155A | 20-21.5V | |
| FLUX 0.9 | 1.2-2.0mm | 60-80A | 17-18V |
| 2.0-3.0mm | 80-120A | 18-20V | |
| 3.0-5.0mm | 120-150A | 20-21.5V | |
| AL 0.9 | 1.0mm | 60-70A | 17-17.5V |

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your AZZUNO MIG-155F Welder.
- Cleanliness: Keep the welder clean and free from dust, metal particles, and moisture. Use a dry, soft cloth for external cleaning.
- Wire Feed Mechanism: Periodically inspect the wire feed rollers and liner for wear or blockages. Clean any debris to ensure smooth wire feeding.
- Connections: Regularly check all cable connections (power, ground, torch) for tightness and signs of damage. Loose connections can lead to poor performance or safety hazards.
- Cooling Fan: Ensure the cooling fan vents are unobstructed to prevent overheating.
- Consumables: Replace contact tips, nozzles, and drive rollers as they wear out to maintain weld quality.
7. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your welder.

Figure 7.1: Common questions and answers for the AZZUNO MIG-155F Welder.
- Overheat Indicator Light On: If the O.C. (Over Current) light illuminates, the machine has overheated. Stop welding and allow the machine to cool down. Ensure proper ventilation.
- No Arc: Check power supply, ground clamp connection, and ensure the welding mode is correctly selected. Verify wire feed and contact tip are not clogged.
- Poor Weld Quality: Adjust voltage and wire feed speed according to the parameter table. Ensure proper gas flow (if applicable) and clean the workpiece. Check for worn consumables.
- Wire Feeding Issues: Check for tangled wire, correct drive roller size, and proper tension on the wire spool. Clean the liner if necessary.
