4. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your BOMGE Wireless XLR system:

  1. Charge the Units: Before first use, fully charge both the transmitter (TX) and receiver (RX) units using the provided USB charging cable. The display will indicate charging status.
  2. Connect the Transmitter: Plug the transmitter (TX) into your dynamic microphone or instrument's XLR output. If connecting to a 6.35mm (1/4") jack, use one of the included 6.35mm XLR adapters.
  3. Connect the Receiver: Plug the receiver (RX) into the XLR input of your audio mixer, PA system, amplifier, or other audio input device. If connecting to a 6.35mm (1/4") jack, use the other included 6.35mm XLR adapter.
  4. Power On: Press and hold the Power button on both the transmitter and receiver until their displays light up.
  5. Pairing (Automatic): The units should automatically pair. If they do not, ensure they are within range and try powering them off and on again. The display will show the connected channel.
  6. Select Input Mode (Transmitter): For microphones, use the 48V/5V/0V input switching button on the transmitter to match your microphone type (48V for condenser requiring phantom power, 5V for capacitive, 0V for dynamic/moving coil).

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the "POWER" button on both the TX and RX units for approximately 2 seconds until the display illuminates.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the "POWER" button on both units for approximately 2 seconds until the display turns off.

5.2 Channel Selection (Transmitter)

The system supports 16 channels to avoid interference.

  • On the transmitter (TX), short press the "CH+" or "CH-" button to cycle through available channels.
  • The receiver (RX) will automatically synchronize to the selected channel.

5.3 Volume Adjustment (Transmitter)

  • On the transmitter (TX), short press the "VOL+" or "VOL-" button to adjust the output volume level.
  • Monitor your audio output device to set an appropriate volume.

5.4 Input Mode Selection (Transmitter)

The transmitter features a 48V/5V/0V input switching button to accommodate different microphone types.

  • 0V Mode: For dynamic (moving coil) microphones.
  • 5V Mode: For capacitive microphones that do not require full phantom power.
  • 48V Mode: For condenser microphones that require 48V phantom power.

Ensure the correct mode is selected for your connected microphone to prevent damage or poor audio quality.

6.1 Charging
