1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the AFK Computer Speakers. This sound bar is designed to enhance your audio experience with rich stereo sound and dynamic RGB lighting. It offers versatile connectivity options, including Bluetooth 5.1 and 3.5mm Aux-in, making it compatible with a wide range of devices such as laptops, desktops, phones, and tablets. Please read this manual carefully before use to ensure proper operation and to maximize the product's lifespan.

2. Safety Information

  • Do not expose the speaker to water, moisture, or extreme temperatures.
  • Avoid dropping or subjecting the speaker to strong impacts.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble, repair, or modify the speaker yourself. Refer all servicing to qualified personnel.
  • Keep the speaker away from heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
  • Use only attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
  • Clean only with a dry cloth.

4. Product Overview

Controls and Ports:

  • Power Button: Press and hold to turn on/off.
  • Mode Button: Short press to switch between Bluetooth and AUX modes.
  • RGB Light Control Button: Short press to cycle through 5 light modes or turn lights off.
  • Volume Up (+): Increase volume.
  • Volume Down (-): Decrease volume.
  • USB-C Port: For power supply and audio input (via USB-A to USB-C cable).
  • 3.5mm AUX-in Port: For wired audio input.

5. Setup

Initial Connection:

  1. Place the speaker on a stable, flat surface near your computer or desired audio source.
  2. Connect the provided USB-A to USB-C cable to the USB-C port on the speaker and the USB-A port on your computer or a USB power adapter (5V/1A recommended). The speaker will power on automatically or can be turned on by pressing the power button.
  3. Choose your preferred connection method:

USB Audio Connection:

The speaker can receive audio directly through the USB-C cable when connected to a computer.

  1. Ensure the USB-A to USB-C cable is connected from the speaker to your computer.
  2. The speaker should automatically be recognized as an audio output device. Select "AFK Speaker" or similar in your computer's sound settings.

6. Operating Instructions

Power On/Off:

Press and hold the power button on the top of the speaker for 2-3 seconds to turn it on or off.

Volume Control:

Use the '+' button to increase volume and the '-' button to decrease volume. You can also adjust volume from your connected device.

Bluetooth Connection:

  1. Turn on the speaker. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode if no other connection is active, indicated by a flashing blue light.
  2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), enable Bluetooth and search for "AFK Speaker" or "BT601-RGB-US" in the list of available devices.
  3. Select the speaker to pair. Once successfully paired, you will hear a confirmation sound, and the blue light will become solid.
  4. If already connected via AUX or USB, short press the Mode button to switch to Bluetooth mode.

AUX-in Connection:

  1. Connect one end of the 3.5mm audio cable to the AUX-in port on the speaker.
  2. Connect the other end of the 3.5mm audio cable to the headphone jack or audio output port of your device.
  3. Short press the Mode button on the speaker to switch to AUX mode.

RGB Lighting Control:

The speaker features 5 adjustable RGB light modes. Short press the RGB Light Control button to cycle through the modes or to turn the lights off.

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the surface of the speaker. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Care: If the speaker has an internal battery, charge it regularly to maintain battery health, even if not in frequent use. Avoid fully discharging the battery for long periods.

8. Troubleshooting
