2. Setup

2.1 Package Contents

Verify that all items are present in your HIKMICRO Mini-X package:

2.2 Charging the Device

The Mini-X features a built-in rechargeable Li-ion battery. Connect the device to a power source using the provided USB-C cable. A full charge provides up to 4 hours of continuous operation.

2.3 App Installation and Wireless Connection

The Mini-X requires the HIKMICRO Viewer App for mobile devices (iOS/Android) and HIKMICRO Analyzer PC Software for Windows for full functionality.

  1. Download App: Scan the QR code on the device or in the manual to download the HIKMICRO Viewer App from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). For PC, download HIKMICRO Analyzer from the official HIKMICRO website.
  2. Power On: Press and hold the power button on the Mini-X until the indicator light turns on.
  3. Connect Wirelessly: Open the HIKMICRO Viewer App. The app will guide you to connect to the Mini-X via Wi-Fi. The device supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands for stable transmission up to 30m (98.4ft) outdoors and 10m (32.8ft) indoors.
  4. Initial Pairing: For the first connection, you may need to scan a QR code displayed on the device or manually select the Mini-X Wi-Fi network in your phone's settings.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Powering On/Off

To power on, press and hold the power button until the indicator light illuminates. To power off, press and hold the power button again until the indicator light turns off.
