  • Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the scale yourself. Contact qualified service personnel for assistance.
  • Ensure the scale is placed on a stable, flat surface during use to ensure accurate measurements.

Operating Instructions

Powering On/Off

  • To turn on: Press the power button (usually indicated by a circle with a vertical line) located on the scale's surface. The LED display will illuminate.
  • To turn off: Press and hold the power button for a few seconds, or allow the scale to auto shut-off after a period of inactivity to conserve battery life.

Unit Selection

The scale allows you to measure in various units. Press the unit button (often labeled 'UNIT' or with an icon representing different units) to cycle through available measurement units such as grams (g), ounces (oz), pounds (lb), milliliters (ml), and fluid ounces (fl oz).

Weighing Ingredients

  1. Turn on the scale. Ensure the display shows '0'.
  2. Place the item or container directly onto the center of the scale's weighing surface.
  3. Read the weight displayed on the LED screen.

TARE Function

The TARE function allows you to subtract the weight of a container or to weigh multiple ingredients consecutively in the same bowl.

  1. Place an empty container on the scale.
  2. Press the 'TARE' button (often indicated by a 'T' or a zero symbol). The display will reset to '0'.
  3. Add your first ingredient to the container; its weight will be displayed.
  4. To add another ingredient, press 'TARE' again to reset the display to '0', then add the next ingredient. Repeat as needed.

HOLD Function

The HOLD function allows you to lock the displayed weight, even after the item is removed from the scale. This is useful for large or awkwardly shaped items that might obscure the display.

  • Weigh an item as usual.
  • Press the 'HOLD' button (indicated by 'Hold' text or a lock icon). The weight will be locked on the display.
  • You can now remove the item and still view its weight. Press 'HOLD' again or turn off the scale to clear the held weight.

Maximum Capacity

The scale has a maximum capacity of 11 pounds (5000 grams) for dry ingredients and 5000 milliliters (176 fluid ounces) for liquid ingredients. Exceeding this limit may damage the scale or result in inaccurate readings.
