8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Mentech X3 Projector, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No image or distorted image | Incorrect input source, focus issue, keystone distortion, loose cable connection. | Verify input source, adjust electric focus, check auto keystone correction or manually adjust, ensure cables are securely connected. |
| No sound | Volume too low, incorrect audio output, external speaker not connected. | Increase volume, check audio settings, ensure Bluetooth speaker is paired or wired speaker is connected. |
| WiFi connection unstable | Weak signal, incorrect password, interference. | Move projector closer to router, re-enter password, minimize interference from other devices. |
| Projector overheats or shuts down | Blocked ventilation, prolonged use in high temperatures. | Ensure vents are clear, operate in a well-ventilated area, allow for cool-down periods. |
| Remote control not working | Dead batteries, obstruction, remote not pointed at sensor. | Replace batteries, remove obstructions, ensure direct line of sight to projector's IR sensor. |
If the problem persists after attempting these solutions, please contact customer support.
