7. Maintenance
Regular cleaning and proper care will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your WELLFOR shower system.
- Cleaning the Finish: Use a soft, damp cloth and mild soap to clean the matte black finish. Rinse thoroughly with water and dry with a soft cloth to prevent water spots. Avoid abrasive cleaners, ammonia-based products, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish.
- Cleaning Silicone Nozzles: The rain shower head and handheld spray feature easy-to-clean silicone nozzles. To remove mineral buildup, simply rub your finger across the nozzles. For stubborn deposits, a mixture of white vinegar and water can be used.
- Regular Inspection: Periodically check all connections for any signs of leaks or wear. Tighten connections as needed.
8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your shower system, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Low Water Pressure | Mineral buildup in shower head/handheld nozzles; partially closed shut-off valve; low household water pressure. | Clean silicone nozzles by rubbing them; ensure shut-off valves are fully open; consult a plumber for household water pressure issues. |
| Water Leaks from Connections | Loose connections; worn O-rings or seals; improper thread sealant. | Tighten connections; replace O-rings/seals if damaged; reapply plumber's tape or thread sealant. |
| Inconsistent Water Temperature | Pressure balance cartridge issue; hot/cold water supply imbalance. | Check water heater settings; if problem persists, the pressure balance cartridge may need inspection or replacement by a professional. |
| Unusual Noise from Shower Head | Air in the lines; water pressure too high; internal component vibration. | Run water for a few minutes to clear air; check household water pressure; if noise persists, contact customer support. |
If the issue persists after attempting these solutions, please contact WELLFOR customer support for assistance.
