Setup

1. Attaching the Tripod Head to a Tripod

1. Locate the 3/8-inch screw on your tripod's mounting platform.
2. Align the base mount of the AP50 Tripod Head with the screw.
3. Rotate the tripod head clockwise onto the tripod screw until it is firmly secured. Ensure it is tight enough to prevent wobbling, but do not overtighten.

2. Mounting Your Device (Camera/Camcorder/Smartphone/Tablet)

1. Press the quick release lever to detach the quick release plate from the tripod head.
2. Attach the quick release plate to the bottom of your camera or device using the 1/4-inch screw. Ensure it is securely fastened. For smartphones/tablets, an adapter (not included) may be required.
3. Slide the quick release plate with your device back into the tripod head's receiver until it clicks into place. Verify that the device is securely locked before releasing your grip.

Operating Instructions

Adjusting Pan and Tilt

• Pan Adjustment: Loosen the Pan Lock Knob (typically located at the base of the head) to allow horizontal rotation. Tighten the knob to lock the head in the desired horizontal position.
