4. Installation Instructions
Follow these steps to install the silver ion module into your compatible Dreame robot vacuum cleaner:
- Open the Lid: Locate and open the lid of the clean water tank on your robot vacuum cleaner.
- Remove Water Pipe: Carefully remove the clean water pipe from its position within the clean water tank.
- Insert Silver Ion Module: Insert the silver ion module into the middle of the water pipe. For the first installation, the front of the pipe may be relatively tight. It may be necessary to pinch the pipe slightly and insert the module with gentle force.
- Reinsert Water Pipe: Insert the water pipe back into the drain of the clean water tank. Ensure a slight amount of force is used to firmly attach the pipe to the bottom of the tank.

5. Operation
Once installed, the silver ion module operates automatically with your robot vacuum cleaner. When the device is active and using water for cleaning, the module will continuously release Ag+ ions into the water. This process contributes to maintaining a cleaner floor surface.
6. Maintenance
The silver ion module is a consumable item and requires periodic replacement to maintain optimal performance. The frequency of replacement depends on usage. When the module's effectiveness diminishes, or as recommended by your robot vacuum cleaner's manufacturer, replace it with a new OTOTEC Silver Ion Module by following the installation steps outlined in Section 4.

- Water Leakage: Verify that the water pipe is firmly attached to both the module and the clean water tank drain. Ensure all connections are secure.
- No Perceived Effect: The effect of silver ions is a physical cleaning process, not always immediately visible. Ensure the module is correctly installed and the robot vacuum is operating as usual.
