Setup

Charging the Camera

Before first use, fully charge the camera using the provided USB Type-C cable. A full charge takes approximately 5 hours and provides up to 30 hours of operation. The integrated solar panel will continuously charge the battery when exposed to sunlight.

Mounting the Camera

The camera features six strong neodymium magnets for quick and secure attachment to any metal surface on your vehicle. The base is covered with soft rubber to prevent scratches.

For permanent installation or added security, use the four provided screws to mount the camera. Ensure the camera is positioned to provide a clear, unobstructed view of the rear area.

Operation

Powering On/Off

The camera automatically powers on when a compatible monitor (not included) is activated and paired. Refer to your monitor's manual for specific pairing instructions.

Digital Signal and Range

The camera utilizes a powerful digital signal with frequency hopping technology, recommended for vehicles under 60 feet in length. This ensures a stable connection to your compatible monitor.

Maintenance

Cleaning

Battery Care

For prolonged storage, ensure the battery is charged to at least 50%. Recharge periodically if stored for extended periods without sunlight exposure to maintain battery health.

Troubleshooting

No Signal on Monitor

  • Ensure the camera is powered on and fully charged.
  • Verify the camera is within the 60ft operating range of your compatible monitor.
  • Check for any significant metal obstructions between the camera and monitor that might interfere with the wireless signal.
  • Re-pair the camera with your monitor according to the monitor's instructions.

Poor Image Quality

  • Clean the camera lens to remove dirt or smudges.
  • Ensure the camera is securely mounted and not vibrating excessively.
  • Check for strong electromagnetic interference sources nearby.

Battery Not Charging

  • Ensure the USB Type-C cable is properly connected to both the camera and a working power source.
