1. Introduction
Thank you for choosing the Kikkaboo Lanah 2-in-1 Stroller. This manual provides essential information for the safe assembly, operation, and maintenance of your stroller. Please read these instructions carefully before use and retain them for future reference. This stroller is designed for children from birth up to a maximum weight of 22 kg.
2. Safety Information
- Always ensure all locking devices are engaged before use.
- Do not leave your child unattended in the stroller.
- Ensure your child is secured with the 5-point harness at all times.
- Do not overload the storage basket; maximum weight capacity is specified by the manufacturer.
- Do not use accessories or spare parts other than those approved by Kikkaboo.
- Always engage the brakes when parking the stroller.
- Be aware of the risk of open fires and other sources of strong heat, such as electric bar fires, gas fires, etc., in the near vicinity of the stroller.
- Regularly check the stroller for loose parts, damaged components, or signs of wear. Discontinue use if any damage is found.
- This product is not suitable for running or skating.

4. Setup and Assembly
4.1 Unfolding the Stroller Frame
- Place the folded stroller on a flat surface.
- Release the folding latch, usually located on the side of the frame.
- Lift the handle upwards until the frame locks into its open position. Listen for a click to confirm it is securely locked.
4.2 Attaching the Wheels
- Insert the rear wheels into the axle until they click into place. Pull gently to ensure they are secure.
- Insert the front wheels into their respective slots until they click. Ensure they can swivel freely.
4.3 Attaching the 2-in-1 Seat Unit / Bassinet
- Align the connectors on the seat unit with the mounting points on the stroller frame.
- Press down firmly until the unit clicks securely into place.
- To convert to bassinet mode, adjust the backrest to the fully reclined position and ensure the footrest is raised. Insert the soft mattress.
- To convert to seat mode, adjust the backrest to an upright or semi-reclined position and lower the footrest.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Adjusting the Backrest
The backrest can be adjusted to 3 positions. Locate the adjustment lever or strap on the back of the seat unit. Press or pull the mechanism and move the backrest to the desired position. Ensure it locks securely.
5.2 Adjusting the Footrest
The footrest has 2 adjustable positions. Press the buttons on either side of the footrest and move it up or down to the desired angle. Release the buttons to lock it in place.
5.3 Reversible Push Handle
The faux leather push handle is reversible, allowing the seat unit to face forward or towards the parent. To reverse the handle, locate the release buttons on both sides of the handle. Press these buttons and swing the handle over to the opposite side until it locks into position. The handle is also 3-position height adjustable; press the central button on the handle to adjust its height.
5.4 Engaging the Brakes
The stroller features a double brake system. To engage the brakes, press down firmly on the brake pedal located near the rear wheels until both wheels are locked. To release, lift the pedal upwards.
5.5 Securing Your Child with the 5-Point Harness
- Place your child in the seat.
- Bring the shoulder straps over your child's shoulders and the waist straps around their waist.
- Insert the buckle tongues into the central buckle until they click.
- Adjust the straps to ensure a snug, secure fit without being too tight. The harness includes pads for comfort.
- To release, press the button on the central buckle.
5.6 Folding the Stroller
The stroller features a quick and simple folding system for compact storage.
- Ensure the seat is in the forward-facing position and the backrest is fully upright.
- Locate the folding mechanisms, typically on the handle or sides of the frame.
- Follow the specific instructions for your model to activate the folding mechanism and collapse the stroller.
- Secure the folding latch to keep the stroller in its compact state.

6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: The waterproof UPF50+ fabrics can be spot cleaned with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not use harsh detergents or abrasive cleaners. For deeper cleaning, refer to the care labels on the fabric components.
- Frame: Wipe the aluminum frame with a soft, damp cloth. Dry thoroughly to prevent rust.
- Wheels: Regularly clean the EVA wheels to remove dirt and debris. Lubricate moving parts (axles, swivel mechanisms) periodically with a silicone-based lubricant to ensure smooth operation.
- Storage: Store the stroller in a dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
7. Troubleshooting
- Stroller does not fold/unfold smoothly: Check for any obstructions in the folding mechanism. Ensure all locking devices are disengaged before folding. Lubricate moving parts if necessary.
- Wheels squeak or do not swivel: Clean the wheels and axles to remove dirt. Apply a silicone-based lubricant to the swivel mechanisms and axle points.
- Brakes are not engaging/disengaging: Check for debris obstructing the brake mechanism. Ensure the brake pedal is fully pressed or lifted.
- Seat unit feels loose: Verify that the seat unit is correctly attached to the frame and has clicked securely into place.
