2. Important Safety Information

WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, observe the following safety precautions:

  • Always plug the dehumidifier into a grounded electrical outlet.

4. Setup

4.1 Placement

Place the dehumidifier in an area where humidity control is desired, such as a basement, bedroom, bathroom, or large room. Ensure there is at least 8 inches (20 cm) of space around the unit for proper airflow.

4.2 Power Connection

Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet (120V, 60Hz). The unit will enter standby mode.

4.3 Drainage Options

Your dehumidifier offers two drainage methods:

  • Manual Drainage: The unit collects water in its internal 1.58-gallon (6L) water tank. When the tank is full, the dehumidifier will automatically shut off and an indicator light will illuminate. The tank must then be manually emptied.
  • Continuous Drainage: For extended operation without manual intervention, connect the included drain hose to the continuous drainage port on the back of the unit. Route the hose to a suitable drain, ensuring it is sloped downwards for gravity drainage.

5. Operating Instructions

Familiarize yourself with the control panel (refer to Figure 3.2) before operation.

5.1 Power On/Off

  • Press the POWER button to turn the dehumidifier on or off.

5.2 Setting Humidity Level

  • Use the HUMI+ and HUMI- buttons to set your desired humidity level. The humidity can be set between 30% and 80% Relative Humidity (RH). The unit will operate until the set humidity level is reached.

5.3 Fan Speed Control

  • Press the SPEED button to cycle between High and Low fan speeds.

5.4 Operating Modes

The dehumidifier features four function modes:

  • Drying Mode: Efficiently removes humidity for rapid moisture extraction.
  • Fan Mode: Circulates air without dehumidification.
  • Low Mode: Operates quietly with reduced energy consumption.
  • High Mode: Provides maximum moisture removal for demanding conditions.

Press the MODE button to select the desired operating mode.

5.5 Timer Function

  • Press the TIMER button to set an automatic shut-off time (0-24 hours).

5.6 Child Lock

  • To activate or deactivate the child lock, press and hold the HUMI+ and TIMER buttons simultaneously for three seconds.

5.7 Automatic Features

  • Automatic Defrost: The unit is equipped with an advanced defrost system to prevent frost buildup on the coils in lower temperatures.
  • Automatic Shut-off: The dehumidifier will automatically turn off when the water tank is full or when the set humidity level is reached.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your dehumidifier.

6.1 Cleaning the Air Filter

The removable and washable air filter should be cleaned regularly (e.g., every two weeks or as needed) to maintain air quality and unit efficiency.

  1. Unplug the dehumidifier from the power outlet.
  2. Remove the air filter from the back of the unit.
  3. Wash the filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
  4. Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinserting it into the unit.

6.2 Emptying the Water Tank

If using manual drainage, empty the water tank when the "FULL" indicator light illuminates.

  1. Gently pull out the water tank from the front of the unit.
  2. Carefully carry the tank to a sink or drain.
  3. Pour out the collected water.
  4. Slide the empty tank back into the dehumidifier until it clicks into place.

7. Troubleshooting
