1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Fuers 5MP Security Camera System. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the product to ensure proper setup and functionality.

2. Safety Information

4. Setup

4.1 Physical Connections

  1. Connect the DVR to a monitor using an HDMI or VGA cable.
  2. Plug the USB mouse into one of the DVR's USB ports.
  3. Connect the DVR power supply to the DVR and a power outlet.
  4. Connect the 5MP dome cameras to the DVR's video input ports using the provided BNC cables.
  5. Connect the camera power supplies to the cameras and power outlets.
  6. For remote access, connect the DVR to your router using an Ethernet cable.

4.2 Hard Drive Installation (if not pre-installed)

Your DVR comes with a 500GB HDD pre-installed. If you need to install or replace a hard drive, follow these steps:

  1. Unplug the DVR from power and remove the top cover.
  2. Connect the SATA power and data cables from the DVR to the corresponding ports on your hard drive.
  3. Secure the hard drive inside the DVR casing using screws.
  4. Replace the top cover and plug in the DVR.

4.3 Initial Configuration

  1. Power on the DVR. The system will boot up and display on the connected monitor.
  2. Follow the on-screen wizard to set the language, time zone, and create a strong password for the administrator account.
  3. Ensure the display resolution is set to 1920x1080P for optimal viewing quality.
  4. Configure network settings (DHCP is usually enabled by default for automatic IP assignment).

5. Operating

5.1 Live View

After initial setup, the live view of all connected cameras will be displayed on your monitor. You can switch between single-camera view or multi-camera grid layouts.

5.2 Recording

The system supports 24/7 continuous recording. With H.265+ compression, video quality is maintained while optimizing storage space.

5.3 Playback

Access recorded footage through the DVR interface or the mobile app. The system supports smart playback features like face search.
