3. Setup Guide

3.1 Unpacking and Inspection

Carefully remove the mixer and all accessories from the packaging. Verify that all components listed below are present and undamaged. If any items are missing or damaged, contact your retailer immediately.

3.2 Power Connection

Connect the supplied AC adapter to the mixer's power input jack and then plug it into a suitable power outlet. The T7 mixer is USB powered and operates on 5 Volts DC.

3.3 Connecting Devices

The T7 mixer supports a variety of input and output connections. Refer to the diagram below for common connection types.

Microphone Inputs (Channels 1-5)

  • Connect microphones using XLR cables to the MIC inputs.
  • For condenser microphones, activate the +48V PHANTOM POWER button. Ensure all connections are made before activating phantom power to prevent damage.

Line Inputs (Channels 1-5)

  • Connect line-level devices (keyboards, drum machines, etc.) using 6.35mm (1/4") TS/TRS cables to the LINE inputs.

Stereo Inputs (Channels 6/7)

  • Connect stereo sources (CD players, media players) to the 6.35mm stereo input or RCA inputs.

USB/Bluetooth Input

  • Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port for MP3 playback.
  • Pair your Bluetooth device with the mixer for wireless audio streaming.

Outputs

  • MAIN OUT: Connect to your amplifier or powered speakers using XLR cables.
  • PHONES: Connect headphones for monitoring.
  • AUX OUT: For sending audio to external effects processors or monitors.
  • REC OUT: RCA outputs for connecting to a recording device.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Channel Controls (Channels 1-7)

  • GAIN Knob: Adjusts the input sensitivity for each channel. Set this to achieve a strong signal without clipping (indicated by the PEAK LED).
  • HIGH/MIDDLE/LOW Knobs: 3-band equalizer for adjusting the treble, midrange, and bass frequencies of each channel.
  • AUX/EFFECT Knob: Controls the amount of signal sent from the channel to the internal effect processor or external AUX send.
  • PAN Knob: Adjusts the stereo position of the channel's signal (left to right).
  • CHANNEL VOLUME Fader: Controls the overall output level of each individual channel.
  • PEAK LED: Illuminates when the input signal is too high, indicating potential clipping. Reduce the GAIN if this LED lights up frequently.

4.2 Master Section Controls

  • +48V PHANTOM POWER Button: Activates/deactivates 48V phantom power for condenser microphones. Turn off before connecting/disconnecting microphones.
  • REPEAT/DELAY Knobs: Adjust the parameters of the built-in reverberation effect.
  • AUX/EFFECT CONTROL Knob: Adjusts the overall output level of the AUX bus and the effect level processed by the built-in effect processor to the main output.
  • PHONE VOLUME Knob: Controls the volume of the headphone output.
  • MAIN Fader: Controls the overall output volume of the mixer.
  • USB/BT Play Control Buttons: Controls for USB MP3 playback and Bluetooth functions (Play/Pause, Next/Previous Track).

5. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Kaschun T7 mixer.

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the mixer's surface. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by a dry one. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Storage: Store the mixer in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity.
  • Ventilation: Ensure proper ventilation around the mixer during operation to prevent overheating. Do not block ventilation openings.
  • Cable Management: Use proper cable management to prevent strain on connectors and accidental disconnections.
  • Power Off: Always power off the mixer and disconnect the power adapter when not in use for extended periods.

6. Troubleshooting
