2. Safety Information

4. Setup and Installation

The KOABBIT KH158 detector is designed for simple plug-and-play installation.

1. Unpack the Device: Carefully remove the detector from its packaging.
2. Choose a Location:
   • Install in areas where gas or carbon monoxide leaks are possible, such as kitchens, near gas appliances (stoves, water heaters), or in living spaces.
   • Avoid installing near windows, doors, or ventilation fans, as drafts can affect sensor readings.
   • Ensure the detector is not obstructed by furniture or curtains.

5.2. Alarm Function

The detector will activate an 85dB audible alarm and flash the red ALARM light when detected gas levels exceed preset thresholds. The display will show the dangerous gas concentration.

• CO Alarm: Activates when carbon monoxide levels reach dangerous concentrations.
