Setup and Adjustment
Setting Time and Date
- Setting the Date: Pull the crown out to the first click position. Rotate the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise to adjust the date. Avoid setting the date between 9 PM and 3 AM, as this may interfere with the automatic date change mechanism.
- Setting the Time: Pull the crown out to the second click position. Rotate the crown to move the hour and minute hands to the correct time. Push the crown back in to the normal position to start the watch.
Adjusting the Metal Wrist Band
The metal band can be adjusted by removing or adding links to achieve a comfortable fit. An adjustment tool is included with your watch for this purpose. It is recommended to remove an equal number of links from both sides of the clasp to maintain balance.
Video: This video demonstrates the process of removing and installing links on the metal wrist band using the provided adjustment tool. It shows how to position the band on the tool, push out the link pins, remove excess links, and then reconnect the band by reinserting the pins.
- Wrist Watch Try-On Test: Before adjusting, try on the watch to determine how many links need to be removed. If you need to remove 4 sections, split them evenly (2 sections from the left side and 2 from the right side) to ensure balance.
- Removing Links: Place the metal band on the removal tool, aligning the tool's pin with the hole on the side of the watch link. Use the thimble to rotate and push the link pin out. Repeat this step for each link to be removed.
- Reconnecting the Band: Once the desired number of links are removed, align the remaining sections of the band. Reinstall the link pin in the direction of the eject press. Use the disassembly tool top to align the link at the fork. Carefully rotate the ejector pin to push the link pin into the flush with the side of the metal band.
- Final Check: After reassembling, check that the band is firmly connected and secure. Save any disassembled links, as they may be useful in the future.
Operating Your Watch
Your OLEVS watch is designed for straightforward operation. Once the time and date are set, the watch will continuously display the current time and date.
- Reading Time: The watch features clear hour, minute, and second hands, along with distinct hour markers for easy readability.
- Date and Day Display: The dual calendar window displays the current date and day of the week. This changes automatically at midnight once set correctly.
- Luminous Feature: In low-light conditions, the luminous coating on the hands and hour markers will glow, allowing you to read the time without external light. This feature requires exposure to light to charge the luminous material.

Care and Maintenance
- Water Resistance: Your OLEVS watch is water-resistant to 30 meters (3ATM). This means it can withstand splashes, rain, and brief immersion in water (e.g., hand washing). It is not designed for swimming, showering, or diving. Do not operate the crown or pushers when the watch is wet or submerged.
- Cleaning: To maintain the appearance of your watch, wipe the case and band regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For the metal band, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Temperature Extremes: Avoid exposing your watch to extreme temperatures (hot or cold) or sudden temperature changes, as this can affect the movement and seals.
- Magnetic Fields: Keep the watch away from strong magnetic fields, which can interfere with its accuracy.

Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your OLEVS watch, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Watch Not Running: Ensure the crown is fully pushed in. If the watch is battery-powered, the battery may need replacement.
- Incorrect Time/Date: Refer to the "Setting Time and Date" section to correctly adjust the watch. Ensure the crown is fully pushed in after setting.
- Date Not Changing: Check if the time is set correctly for AM/PM. The date typically changes around midnight. If the date is set between 9 PM and 3 AM, it might not change properly.
- Condensation Under Crystal: This may indicate a breach in the water resistance. Avoid further water exposure and seek professional service immediately.
- Band Discomfort: Re-evaluate the band adjustment. Ensure links are removed evenly from both sides for optimal balance and comfort.
