The included remote control is designed to simplify your entertainment setup. It can learn basic functions from your existing TV remote, allowing you to control both your TV and the converter box with a single device. This reduces clutter and enhances user convenience.
4. Setup Guide

- Connect Antenna: Connect your digital TV antenna to the Antenna Input port (5) on the converter box.
- Connect HDMI: Plug one end of the HDMI cable into the HDMI Output port (1) on the converter box and the other end into an available HDMI input on your TV, monitor, or projector.
- Connect IR Receiver: Plug the IR Receiver cable into the IR Connection port (4). Position the IR receiver in a location where it has a clear line of sight to your remote control.
- Power On: Connect the USB to DC cable to the Power Supply Interface (3) on the converter box. Plug the USB end into a 5V USB port on your TV or use a compatible USB power adapter (not included). The device will power on automatically.
- Select Input: Turn on your TV/monitor and select the correct HDMI input source that the converter box is connected to.
- Channel Scan: Upon first use, the device will prompt you to perform a channel scan. Follow the on-screen instructions to scan for available digital channels in your area. This process may take several minutes.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Channel Browsing and Viewing

- Use the CH+/- buttons on the remote to navigate through channels.
- Press the OK button to bring up the channel list and select a channel directly.
- Press the INFO button once to view current program information. Press it twice for detailed signal information.
5.2. DVR Recording Function

- Insert a USB drive (not included) into the USB 2.0 Input port (2).
- Press the REC button on the remote to start recording the current program. Press it again to stop.
- To schedule recordings, use the EPG (Electronic Program Guide) or the TIMER button.
- Press the PVR button to access your recorded programs for playback.
5.3. Electronic Program Guide (EPG)
- Press the EPG button on the remote to view the Electronic Program Guide.
- Browse through channels and upcoming programs. You can schedule recordings directly from the EPG.
5.4. Media Playback
- Insert a USB drive containing media files (music, photos, videos) into the USB 2.0 Input port (2).
- Press the MENU button and navigate to the Multimedia section to select Music, Photo, or Movie playback.
6. Troubleshooting
- No Signal: Ensure your antenna is properly connected and positioned. Perform a new channel scan. Check the TV's input source.
- Recording Issues: Verify the USB drive is correctly inserted and has sufficient free space. Ensure the USB drive is formatted to a compatible file system (e.g., FAT32, NTFS).
- Remote Not Responding: Check the IR receiver's connection and ensure it has a clear line of sight to the remote. Replace remote batteries if necessary.
- Display Issues: Check the HDMI cable connection. Adjust resolution settings in the device's menu if the display is distorted.
