3. Setup
3.1 Initial Power-Up
- Unpack the safe and all accessories.
- Insert 4 AA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment located inside the safe door. Ensure correct polarity.
- Connect the provided adapter to the safe's power input port and plug it into a wall outlet. This enables the wireless charging function and the 24/7 clock display mode.
3.2 Mounting the Safe
The Grimtron Biometric Gun Safe can be used freestanding or tabletop. For added security, you can secure it using the provided security cable or expansion screws.
- Using the Security Cable: Loop the security cable around a fixed object (e.g., a heavy piece of furniture) and secure it to the safe's designated security slot.
- Using Expansion Screws: If mounting to a wall or floor, use the provided expansion screws. Mark and drill pilot holes, then secure the safe using the screws and the hexagonal screwdriver.
3.3 Setting the Clock
The LED clock display will activate upon initial power-up. Refer to the operating instructions for details on adjusting the time and display modes.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Unlocking Methods
The safe offers three primary unlocking methods: Biometric (Fingerprint), Keypad (Password), and Emergency Key.
4.1.1 Biometric (Fingerprint) Access
- Registering Fingerprints:
a. Open the safe using the emergency key or a pre-set password.
b. Locate the 'Enroll' button inside the safe (refer to diagram in manual for exact location). Press it.
c. Place your finger on the fingerprint scanner. The LED will indicate successful scan. Repeat this process 3-5 times for the same finger, lifting your finger slightly between scans, to ensure accurate registration.
d. The safe can store up to 20 unique fingerprints. - Unlocking with Fingerprint:
a. Place a registered finger firmly on the fingerprint scanner.
b. The safe will unlock in less than 0.5 seconds if the fingerprint is recognized.
4.1.2 Keypad (Password) Access
- Setting a Password:
a. Open the safe.
b. Press the 'Set' button inside the safe.
c. Enter a 4-8 digit password on the keypad.
d. Press the '#' key to confirm. Repeat the password and '#' key to verify. - Unlocking with Password:
a. Enter your 4-8 digit password on the backlit keypad.
b. Press the '#' key. The safe will unlock.
4.1.3 Emergency Key Access
In case of battery failure or forgotten password/fingerprint, use the emergency key to open the safe. The keyhole is discreetly located (refer to product diagrams for location).
4.2 Wireless Charging
To use the wireless charging feature, ensure the safe is connected to the adapter and plugged into a power outlet.
- Place your compatible smartphone or smartwatch on the charging pad located on top of the safe.
- Ensure the device is centered on the charging pad for optimal charging efficiency.
- The charging panel features magnetic attraction to help align your device. Removing the phone case may improve charging efficiency. (Note: Watch cable not included).
4.3 Clock Display Modes

4.4 Silent Mode
To eliminate audible feedback (beeps) from the keypad, press and hold the number '1' key on the keypad. Repeat the action to re-enable sound.

5.1 Battery Replacement
