  2. Insert the battery into the charger. Ensure it clicks into place.
  3. The indicator light on the charger will show the charging status (e.g., red for charging, green for fully charged).
  4. Allow the battery to fully charge before first use. Charging time may vary.
  5. For optimal battery life, avoid storing the battery in a completely discharged state.

3.2 Chain and Guide Bar Installation

Always ensure the battery is removed before installing or adjusting the chain and guide bar.

  1. Using the provided wrench, loosen the guide bar retaining nut and remove the side cover.
  2. Place the saw chain around the sprocket and guide bar. Ensure the cutting edges of the chain teeth are facing the correct direction (refer to the arrow on the guide bar or chainsaw body).
  3. Fit the guide bar onto the mounting studs, ensuring the chain is properly seated in the guide bar groove and around the drive sprocket.
  4. Replace the side cover and hand-tighten the retaining nut. Do not fully tighten yet.
  5. Adjust the chain tension using the tensioning screw. The chain should be snug against the guide bar but still able to be pulled freely by hand. There should be no more than 2-3mm of slack when pulled from the center of the guide bar.
  6. Once the tension is correct, fully tighten the guide bar retaining nut.
