1. Introduction

The IRONZON Tuya Gateway is designed to enhance the functionality of your smart door locks by enabling remote control and monitoring via the Tuya App. This gateway bridges your Bluetooth-enabled smart locks to your home's Wi-Fi network, providing extended connectivity and smart home integration.

3. Setup Guide

Follow these steps to set up your IRONZON Tuya Gateway and connect it to your smart door lock:

3.1 Physical Installation

1. Power On: Plug the Tuya Gateway into a standard USB power source (DC 5V/1A). The gateway will power on automatically.
2. Placement: Place the gateway within 32 feet (10 meters) of your smart door lock to ensure a strong and stable Bluetooth connection. Ensure it is also within range of your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi router.

3.2 App Installation and Pairing

1. Download App: Download the "Tuya Smart" or "Smart Life" app from your smartphone's app store (available for iOS 8.0 & Android 4.4 and above).
2. Register/Login: Open the app and register a new account or log in with an existing one.
3. Add Device:
   • Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
   • In the app, tap the "+" icon to add a new device.
   • The app should automatically discover the "Bluetooth gateway". Tap "Add".
   • Enter your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network password when prompted.
   • Wait for the gateway to connect. Once successfully added, the app will confirm.
4. Pair with Smart Lock:
   • Within the gateway's device page in the Tuya app, select "Add device" or "Search for Devices".
   • Ensure your smart door lock is in pairing mode (refer to your smart lock's manual for specific instructions on entering pairing mode).
   • The gateway will discover the smart lock. Select it to complete the pairing process.
