2. Important Safeguards
When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:
- Read all instructions before using the humidifier.
- Place the humidifier on a firm, flat, water-resistant surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
- Do not place the humidifier directly on carpet, towels, or other absorbent surfaces.
- Do not immerse the main unit in water or other liquids.
- Always unplug the humidifier before filling, cleaning, or moving it.
- Do not add essential oils directly into the water tank. Use the designated aroma pad tray.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
- Use only clean, cool tap water. Distilled or demineralized water is recommended to prevent white dust.
- Do not block the mist outlet or air intake.

5. Getting Started (Setup)
Placement
Place the humidifier on a flat, stable surface at least 6 inches (15 cm) away from walls and furniture. Ensure it is not placed directly on carpet or near heat sources.
Filling the Water Tank
The Dreo Humidifier features a convenient top-fill design.
- Remove the top cover.
- Pour clean, cool tap water directly into the water tank opening. Do not exceed the MAX water level line.
- Replace the top cover securely.

Ensure both prongs of the water tank are fixed to the brackets in the base to avoid water leaks.

6. Operation
Powering On/Off
Press the Power button on the control panel to turn the humidifier on or off.
Intelligent Humidity Control
The humidifier features an intelligent humidistat to maintain your desired humidity level.

Press the Humidity button to set your desired humidity level. The humidifier will automatically adjust its mist output to reach and maintain this level within a 5% tolerance.
Mist Level Adjustment
The humidifier offers multiple mist output settings.

Press the Mist Level button to cycle through different mist output intensities. The dual-mist outlet design allows for uniform and faster humidification.
Night Light Function
Press the Night Light button to turn the ambient light on or off. This feature provides a soft glow for nighttime use.
Aroma Diffuser
To use the aroma diffuser function:
- Locate the aroma pad tray on the side or back of the humidifier.
- Pull out the tray and add a few drops of your preferred essential oil onto the aroma pad.
- Slide the tray back into place.

Do not add essential oils directly into the water tank, as this may damage the humidifier.
Smart Control (App & Voice Assistants)
The Dreo Humidifier can be controlled via the Dreo app, Alexa, or Google Assistant.

Download the Dreo app from your smartphone's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to connect your humidifier. Once connected, you can adjust mist settings, set timers, monitor humidity, and receive cleaning reminders from anywhere.
7. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning is essential to ensure optimal performance and hygiene of your humidifier.
Easy Cleaning Design

Daily Maintenance
- Empty the water tank and base daily.
- Rinse the tank and base with clean water.
- Wipe down all surfaces with a soft, dry cloth.
Weekly Cleaning
- Unplug the humidifier and disassemble the water tank and mist tube from the main unit.
- Fill the water tank with 1 cup (250ml) of white vinegar and 1 cup (250ml) of water. Let it soak for 30 minutes.
- Use the provided cleaning brush to clean the nebulizer and other hard-to-reach areas.
- Rinse all components thoroughly with clean water until the smell of vinegar is gone.
- Wipe all parts dry before reassembling.
Demineralization Cartridge (Optional)
The humidifier is compatible with demineralization cartridges (sold separately). If you experience white dust, consider using a cartridge. Refer to the cartridge's instructions for installation and replacement.
