1.2 Fuel Safety

- Store fuel in an approved container, away from heat sources.
- Never refuel a hot engine. Allow the engine to cool before adding fuel.
- Wipe up any spilled fuel immediately.

2.1 Main Components

3. Setup and Assembly
3.1 Fuel Mixing
This tool uses a 2-stroke engine and requires a specific fuel mixture. Use unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 89 and high-quality 2-stroke engine oil.
- Mixing Ratio: 1 part 2-stroke engine oil to 25 parts gasoline (1:25).
- Mix fuel in an approved fuel container. Shake the container thoroughly before filling the trimmer's fuel tank.
- The fuel tank capacity is 1.2 liters (0.3 US gallons).
3.2 Attaching Components
The main rod and extension rod connect using a quick-release coupling system. Ensure the connection is secure before operation.
- Select the desired attachment (hedge trimmer, pole saw, brush cutter, or string trimmer).
- Align the shaft of the attachment with the end of the main rod or extension rod.
- Push the shafts together until they click into place.
- Tighten the locking knob or lever to secure the connection.
- For brush cutter and string trimmer, ensure the appropriate guard is installed.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Starting the Engine
- Place the trimmer on a flat, stable surface.
- Ensure the fuel tank is filled with the correct fuel mixture.
- Set the choke lever to the 'CLOSED' position (cold start).
- Press the primer bulb several times until fuel is visible in the clear return line.
- Pull the starter cord firmly and smoothly until the engine attempts to start (usually 1-3 pulls).
- Once the engine attempts to start, move the choke lever to the 'OPEN' position.
- Pull the starter cord again until the engine starts.
- Allow the engine to warm up for a few moments before engaging the throttle.
- To stop the engine, press the engine stop switch.
4.2 Using the Attachments
Always maintain a firm grip on the handles and keep your balance. Be aware of your surroundings and potential hazards.
4.2.1 Hedge Trimmer
- Hold the trimmer with both hands, ensuring a stable stance.
- Start trimming from the bottom of the hedge and work upwards.
- Use a sweeping motion, keeping the blades parallel to the cutting surface.
- Avoid cutting branches thicker than the recommended capacity (typically 1 inch).
4.2.2 Pole Saw
- Ensure the chain is properly tensioned and lubricated.
- Make an undercut first to prevent bark stripping, then complete the cut from the top.
- Do not stand directly under the branch being cut.
- The guide plate length is 34cm (13.38 inches).
4.2.3 Brush Cutter / String Trimmer
- Wear heavy-duty leg protection.
- Use the brush cutter for thick weeds and small saplings. The round blade diameter is 25cm (9.84 inches).
- Use the string trimmer for grass and lighter vegetation.
- Maintain a safe distance from objects that could be struck and ejected.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your tool. Always disconnect the spark plug wire before performing any maintenance.
5.1 After Each Use
- Clean the exterior of the engine and attachments with a damp cloth.
- Remove any debris from the air intake and cooling fins.
- Inspect cutting blades/chains for sharpness and damage. Sharpen or replace as needed.
- Check for loose fasteners and tighten if necessary.
5.2 Periodic Maintenance
- Air Filter: Clean or replace the air filter every 10-15 hours of operation, or more frequently in dusty conditions.
- Spark Plug: Inspect the spark plug every 25 hours. Clean or replace if fouled or worn. Ensure correct gap.
- Fuel Filter: Replace the fuel filter annually or if fuel delivery issues occur.
- Gearbox Lubrication: For hedge trimmer and pole saw attachments, check and replenish gearbox grease periodically according to the specific attachment's instructions.
5.3 Storage
- Drain all fuel from the tank and carburetor if storing for more than 30 days. Run the engine until it stops from lack of fuel.
- Clean the entire tool thoroughly.
- Store in a dry, well-ventilated area, away from children and ignition sources.
