4.3 Adjusting Cutting Depth
The router features a quick-release cam lock system for depth adjustment. Users should perform test cuts on scrap material to achieve the desired depth, as precise numerical measurements may not be available on the tool's adjustment mechanism.
- Loosen the quick release cam lock lever.
- Adjust the router body up or down to achieve the desired cutting depth.
- Firmly secure the quick release cam lock lever to lock the depth.
- Always perform a test cut on a scrap piece of material to verify the depth before routing your final workpiece.
5. Operating the Router
5.1 Powering On/Off and Speed Control
Insert a charged battery pack into the router. The router features a 6-speed variable speed control dial (10,000-33,000 RPM) to match the speed to the material and bit type. Turn the router ON/OFF using the designated power button. Adjust the speed dial as needed for your application.
