4. Setup Instructions

4.1. Unpacking and Preparation

  1. Carefully cut the outer packing straps and open the box.
  2. Remove all included accessories (toolkit, pedals, charger, etc.) from the box.
  3. Remove all buffer foam protecting the bike.

  5. Remove all cable ties securing components during shipping. Ensure to locate the battery key, which is typically tied near the rear wheel.

4.2. Handlebar Mounting

  1. Remove the larger Allen wrench from the toolkit.
  2. Loosen the two side screws on the handlebar connection.
  3. Remove the top screws and detach the handlebar connection.
  4. Run the handlebar wires neatly around the shock barrel.
  5. Place the iron blocks and rings back into position on the handlebar stem.
  6. Tighten the screws to secure these components.
  7. Take out the smaller Allen wrench.
  8. Remove all four top screws from the handlebar clamp.
  9. Carefully place the handlebars into the fixed seat.
  10. Re-install the iron block and the four screws to secure the handlebars.
  11. Adjust the handlebars to a comfortable and proper angle for riding.
  12. Use a wrench to securely tighten all screws on the handlebar assembly.

4.3. Front Wheel Mounting

  1. Loosen the screws on both sides of the front wheel axle.
  2. Insert your forearm into the front wheel bearing to support it.
  3. Turn the strip and tighten the screws on the axle.
  4. Then, tighten the screw with the No. 15 wrench.
  5. Insert the screw caps into both sides of the axle.

4.4. Foot (Pedal) Mounting

  1. Take out the pedal. Ensure you are mounting the correct pedal (left/right).
  2. Rotate the pedal screw position to hold it in place.
  3. Tighten the pedal with a 15-gauge wrench.
  4. Important: Notice that the thread on the other foot (pedal) is reversed. The operation is otherwise the same.

4.5. Front Fender Mounting

  1. Cut the tape off the front fender.
  2. Remove the nut with a No. 10 wrench from the front fork.
  3. Put the fender on and tighten the screws.
  4. Remove the screws on both sides of the front fork.
  5. Put the fender brace on.
  6. Tighten with a large Allen wrench. Do the same on the other side.

4.6. Rear Seat Mounting

  1. Remove a pair of screws from the rear frame.
  2. Insert the screw into the joint of the seat bracket.
  3. Twist the screws to secure.
  4. Use two more wrenches to tighten the screws. Do the same on the other side.
  5. Remove the two screws from the taillight.
  6. Insert the rear seat into the mounting hole of the frame.
  7. Tighten all screws to secure the rear seat.
  8. Put the taillights in the rear seat.
  9. Then install the original two screws.
  10. And tighten it with an 8-gauge wrench.
  11. Use cable ties to secure the wires neatly under the seat.
  12. Cut off any extra cable ties with scissors.

4.7. Rear Pedal Mounting

  1. Take out the backseat pedal.
  2. Unscrew the existing screw on the frame.
  3. Take out your foot in the right direction.
  4. Then put on the screws that you just took off.
  5. Tighten the screws with a size 10 wrench and a large Allen wrench. Do the same on the other side.

4.8. Aerating the Wheels

Ensure your tires are properly inflated before riding. Proper tire pressure is crucial for safety and performance.

  1. Take out the pump provided in your toolkit.
  2. Put proper tire pressure on the front and rear wheels. Refer to the tire sidewall for recommended PSI.
