1. Introduction

The Wuloo Solar Driveway Alarm System provides a reliable and expandable solution for monitoring your property. This upgraded system features advanced technology, including a solar-powered sensor with a rechargeable battery and a versatile receiver. It is designed for both indoor and outdoor use, offering enhanced security and convenience.

Key features include:

• Four Sensor Work Modes: Adjustable settings for light and alarm sound (ON/OFF), light flash only, alarm sound only, and mute (no sound, no flash).
• Sixteen Adjustable Chimes: The receiver offers a variety of chimes, allowing you to assign different sounds to different sensors for distinct monitoring areas.

3. System Overview

3.1 Sensor (Outdoor Unit)

The motion sensor is the outdoor unit responsible for detecting movement. It features a solar panel for continuous charging and a robust, weatherproof design. Controls for sensitivity, work mode, and melody selection are located on the unit.

3.2 Receiver (Indoor Unit)

The receiver is the indoor unit that alerts you to detected motion. It plugs into a standard AC outlet and features buttons for pairing, volume adjustment, and melody selection. The display shows the channel number of the activated sensor.

4. Installation

The Wuloo Solar Driveway Alarm System is designed for easy installation. Follow these guidelines for optimal performance:

• Sensor Placement: Place sensors in areas where you want to detect movement, such as driveways, walking paths, front doors, or garages. Ensure the sensor's detection zone covers the desired area.
• Optimal Range: The system offers a 1/3-mile (1760 feet) signal range. For best results, minimize obstructions between the sensor and receiver.
• Mounting: Use the provided screws and anchors to securely mount the sensors. The ball-joint allows for angle adjustment to fine-tune the detection area.
• Solar Exposure: Position the sensor where its solar panel receives adequate sunlight for continuous charging.

5. Setup and Pairing

5.1 Initial Power-Up

Plug the receiver into a standard AC power outlet. The receiver will power on and be ready for pairing.

5.2 Pairing Sensors with the Receiver

To pair a sensor with the receiver:

1. Ensure the sensor is charged.
2. On the receiver, press and hold the PAIR button until you hear a "welcome" prompt. The receiver is now in pairing mode.
3. While in pairing mode, short press the PAIR button to select the desired channel number (e.g., 1, 2, 3).
4. Short press the VOLUME button to select the desired melody for this sensor.
5. Activate the sensor by waving your hand in front of it. The receiver will confirm the pairing with a prompt sound like "pairing finished" and display the assigned channel number.
6. After pairing, press the VOLUME button on the receiver or wait 5 seconds to exit pairing mode.

5.3 Adding Additional Sensors or Receivers

The system is expandable. You can add more sensors to a single receiver or add more receivers to be triggered by the same sensor.

• Adding Sensors: To add more sensors, follow the pairing steps above for each new sensor, assigning a unique channel and melody to distinguish monitoring areas.
• Adding Receivers: To add more receivers, plug in the new receiver, then follow the pairing steps. You can pair multiple receivers to a single sensor, allowing you to hear alerts in different locations.

5.4 Clearing Pairing History

To clear the pairing history of a receiver:

1. Press and hold both the PAIR button and the VOLUME button on the receiver simultaneously for 2 seconds.
2. The receiver will indicate that the pairing history has been cleared.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Sensor Settings

The sensor has several adjustable settings:

• Power ON/OFF: Press and hold the power button on the sensor for 3 seconds to turn it ON or OFF.
• Work Mode: The sensor offers 4 different work modes: light flash and alarm sound, light flash only, alarm sound only, and mute (no sound, no flash). Use the small button next to the work mode icons to cycle through these options.
• Melody Setting: The sensor has 12 different melodies available. Use the small button next to the melody icon to choose a different melody.
• Sensitivity Setting: A switch on the sensor allows you to select between Low (L), Medium (M), and High (H) sensitivity levels. Adjust this to prevent false alarms from small animals or environmental factors like leaves.

6.2 Receiver Settings

The receiver allows for customization of alerts:

• Melody Selection: The receiver has 16 different ringtones. During pairing, you can select a specific melody for each sensor.
• Volume Adjustment: Use the VOLUME button on the receiver to cycle through 4 volume levels, including a mute option.

7. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Wuloo Solar Driveway Alarm System, consider the following maintenance tips:

• Solar Charging: Ensure the sensor's solar panel is kept clean and free from debris (e.g., leaves, dirt) to maximize charging efficiency. Periodically wipe the panel with a soft, damp cloth.
• Battery Life: The sensor's rechargeable battery can last up to 24 months on a full charge. If the sensor is placed in an area with limited sunlight, you may need to occasionally charge it using the provided Type-C USB cable and a DC 5V adapter (not included).
• Weather Protection: While the sensors are weatherproof, extreme weather conditions can impact performance. Ensure they are securely mounted to prevent dislodgement during strong winds.

8. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Wuloo Solar Driveway Alarm System, try the following:

• No Detection:
  • Check sensor battery level. Recharge if necessary.
  • Ensure the sensor is powered ON.
  • Adjust sensor sensitivity to a higher level (H) if objects are not being detected.
  • Verify sensor placement; ensure the detection zone is clear and aimed correctly.
• False Alarms:
  • Adjust sensor sensitivity to a lower level (L or M) to avoid triggering by small animals or moving foliage.
  • Reposition the sensor to avoid direct sunlight or heat sources that might cause false triggers.
• No Sound from Receiver:
  • Check if the receiver is plugged into a working AC outlet.
  • Ensure the receiver volume is not set to mute. Adjust using the VOLUME button.
  • Verify that the sensor and receiver are properly paired. If not, clear pairing history and re-pair.
• Short Signal Range:
  • Reduce obstructions (e.g., thick walls, large trees) between the sensor and receiver.
  • Ensure both units are not placed near large metal objects or other sources of interference.
