4. Power Off

To power off the units, simply disconnect them from the MIDI ports of your instruments. They will automatically shut down.

Maintenance

Charging

Recharge the units when the battery indicator light shows low power. Use the provided USB cable and a standard USB power adapter (not included) for charging. Avoid using damaged cables or chargers.

Cleaning and Storage

  • Wipe the units with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
  • Store the adapter in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • When not in use for extended periods, ensure the units are fully charged before storage to preserve battery health.

Troubleshooting

No Connection / Intermittent Connection

  • Check Battery: Ensure both MIDI IN and MIDI OUT units are sufficiently charged. Recharge if necessary.
  • Verify Ports: Confirm that the MIDI OUT unit is plugged into the instrument's MIDI IN port, and the MIDI IN unit is plugged into the instrument's MIDI OUT port.
  • Distance and Obstructions: Ensure the units are within the 10-meter effective range and there are no large physical obstructions (walls, metal objects) between them.
  • Restart: Disconnect and reconnect both units to reset the connection.

High Latency / Delay

  • Reduce Distance: Move the units closer to each other.
  • Minimize Interference: Avoid placing the units near other 2.4 GHz wireless devices (e.g., Wi-Fi routers, cordless phones) that might cause interference.
  • Check Instrument Settings: Ensure your instrument's MIDI settings are correctly configured.

Units Not Charging

  • Check Cable: Ensure the USB charging cable is not damaged and is securely connected to both the units and the power source.
  • Check Power Source: Try a different USB power adapter or USB port.
