Setup

1. Unpacking

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain the packaging for future transport or storage. Check the packing list to ensure all parts are present.

2. Assembly

  • Handlebar Installation: Attach the handlebars to the stem, ensuring they are centered and tightened securely.
  • Pedal Installation: Identify the left (L) and right (R) pedals. Thread the left pedal counter-clockwise and the right pedal clockwise into the crank arms. Tighten firmly with a wrench.
  • Front Wheel Installation: Secure the front wheel into the fork dropouts using the quick-release skewer or axle nuts. Ensure the wheel is centered and spins freely.
  • Seat Post Adjustment: Insert the seat post into the frame and adjust the saddle height to a comfortable riding position. Secure with the quick-release clamp.

3. Initial Battery Charge

Before first use, fully charge the battery. Connect the charger to the battery charging port and then to a power outlet. The indicator light on the charger will change when charging is complete (typically from red to green). This may take 4-6 hours.

4. Pre-Ride Checks

  • Check tire pressure (refer to tire sidewall for recommended PSI).
  • Verify brake levers engage firmly and stop the wheels effectively.
  • Ensure all quick-release levers and bolts are tightened.
  • Confirm the battery is securely seated and locked.

Operating Your Ebike

1. Powering On/Off

Press and hold the power button on the LCD display for a few seconds to turn the bike on or off. The display will illuminate.

2. LCD Display Functions

The color LCD display provides real-time information:

  • Speed: Current, average, and max speed.
  • Battery Level: Indication of remaining battery charge.
  • Pedal Assist Level (PAS): Shows the current level of motor assistance (0-5).
  • Odometer/Trip Distance: Total distance ridden or current trip distance.

Use the '+' and '-' buttons on the display control panel to adjust the pedal assist level.

3. Pedal Assist System (PAS)

The PAS provides motor assistance as you pedal. Select a higher level for more assistance, or level 0 for no assistance (pure pedal power).

4. Throttle Operation

The throttle provides power on demand without pedaling. Twist the throttle grip to engage the motor. Use the throttle responsibly and be aware of your surroundings.

5. Shifting Gears

Use the gear shifter on the handlebars to change between the 7 speeds. Shift to a lower gear for climbing hills and a higher gear for flat terrain or downhill riding. Shift smoothly to avoid strain on the drivetrain.

6. Braking

Apply both brake levers simultaneously for effective stopping. The left lever typically controls the front brake, and the right lever controls the rear brake. Practice braking in a safe area to become familiar with the bike's stopping power.

Maintenance

1. Battery Care

  • Charge the battery regularly, even if not in use, to maintain its lifespan.
  • Store the battery in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Do not fully discharge the battery before recharging.
  • Use only the original charger provided with the bike.

2. Cleaning

Clean the bike regularly with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid using high-pressure washers directly on electrical components. Dry thoroughly after cleaning.

3. Tire Pressure

Check tire pressure before each ride. Maintain the recommended PSI (pounds per square inch) indicated on the tire sidewall for optimal performance and safety.

4. Brake Inspection

Regularly inspect brake pads for wear and replace them if necessary. Ensure brake cables are not frayed and are properly tensioned.

5. Chain Lubrication

Lubricate the chain every few rides or after riding in wet conditions to ensure smooth gear changes and prevent rust.

6. Regular Servicing

It is recommended to have your ebike professionally serviced at least once a year to ensure all components are functioning correctly and safely.
