4. Installation Guide
While the Seventour HR-JEEP is designed for easy, plug-and-play installation, professional installation is recommended to ensure correct wiring and optimal performance, especially for integrating steering wheel controls and backup cameras.
4.1 Pre-Installation Check
- Ensure the vehicle's ignition is off and the battery is disconnected before starting.
- Verify all included components are present: 10-inch touch screen, wiring harnesses, GPS antenna, 4G antenna, and backup camera (if included).
4.2 Installation Steps (General)
- Carefully remove the original car stereo and trim panels.
- Connect the provided wiring harnesses to the vehicle's existing wiring. Ensure all connections are secure.
- Connect the GPS antenna, 4G antenna, and backup camera input (if applicable).
- Mount the new 10-inch touch screen unit into the dashboard opening.
- Reconnect the vehicle's battery and test the unit's functionality before fully reassembling the dashboard.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Basic Operation
- Power On/Off: The unit typically powers on with the vehicle's ignition. A power button on the unit or screen may also be available for manual control.
- Touch Screen: Navigate the Android 13 interface by tapping, swiping, and pinching on the 10-inch 1280x720 IPS display.
- Volume Control: Adjust volume using on-screen controls or steering wheel controls (if configured).
5.2 Wireless/Wired CarPlay & Android Auto
The stereo supports both wireless and wired connections for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, allowing seamless integration of your smartphone's functions.
- For Wireless Connection:
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone and the car stereo.
- Pair your phone with the car stereo via Bluetooth.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to activate CarPlay or Android Auto wirelessly.
- For Wired Connection:
- Connect your smartphone to the car stereo using a compatible USB cable.
- The system should automatically detect and launch CarPlay or Android Auto.
Once connected, you can access navigation, messages, music, and other compatible apps directly from the car stereo's screen. Use Siri or Google Assistant for voice commands to ensure safe driving.

5.3 GPS Navigation
The unit features a built-in GPS module and supports both offline and online navigation applications. You can download maps for offline use or utilize online services like Google Maps, Here WeGo, or Waze via Wi-Fi or 4G connection.
- To use GPS, open your preferred navigation app from the main menu.
- Enter your destination, and the system will provide turn-by-turn directions.
- Ensure the GPS antenna is properly installed for optimal signal reception.
5.4 4G Mobile Internet Connectivity
The car stereo includes a built-in SIM card slot and a 4G antenna, allowing direct mobile internet access.
- Insert SIM Card: Locate the SIM card slot (refer to installation diagrams if needed) and insert a compatible 4G data SIM card (not included).
- Network Configuration: The system should automatically detect the network. If not, navigate to the network settings to configure APN settings provided by your mobile operator.
- Usage: Once connected, you can stream music, watch videos, browse the internet, and use online apps directly from the head unit.
Supported 4G Frequency Bands include FDD-LTE (B2/B4/B5/B7/B12/B13/B14/B17/B25/B26/B66/B71) and TDD-LTE (B41/B48). Compatible mobile operators include AT&T, T-Mobile, Cricket, Freedom, H2O Wireless, Lycamobile, MetroPCS, Google Project Fi, Straight Talk, oost, Ting(GSM), U.S. Cellular.

5.5 Bluetooth 5.0
Bluetooth 5.0 provides faster transmission speeds and a stable connection for hands-free calls and audio streaming.
- Pairing: Go to Bluetooth settings on the stereo, enable Bluetooth, and search for your device. Select your device to pair.
- Hands-Free Calling: Use the built-in microphone for clear call quality.
- Audio Streaming: Play music from your smartphone directly through the car speakers.
5.6 1080P Backup Camera
The system includes a 170° viewing angle AHD backup camera, which automatically displays a clear 1080P image on the screen when reversing.
- When the vehicle is shifted into reverse gear, the screen will automatically switch to the backup camera view.
- The display includes security reference lines to assist with parking.
- The system is also compatible with existing OEM backup cameras; you can choose to use the included camera or your vehicle's original one.

5.7 Steering Wheel Controls (SWC)
After matching with a CANbus decoder (if required by your vehicle) or learning the "SteeringWheelKey" function in the settings, you can control the stereo using your vehicle's steering wheel buttons.
5.8 Built-in DSP & FM/AM Radio
- DSP: The built-in Digital Signal Processor (DSP) with 48 EQ bands allows for professional audio tuning and a variety of music effects to customize your listening experience.
- FM/AM Radio: Access the high-quality FM/AM radio receiver to listen to real-time traffic conditions, news, and weather forecasts.
6. Maintenance
- Screen Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the touch screen. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
