Setup Instructions
1. Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the feeder's internal 5200mAh battery using the provided Type-C charging cable. The solar panel will maintain the charge once installed, but an initial full charge is recommended.
2. Physical Assembly
- Attach the Feeder Cover: Secure the blue feeder cover onto the top of the main unit.
- Install the Bird Perch: Attach the bird perch to the front of the feeder. This provides a landing spot for birds.
- Connect the External Antenna: Screw the external antenna into the designated port on the feeder unit for improved Wi-Fi signal reception.
- Install Fruit Holders and Jelly Feeder (Optional): Insert the six fruit holders and the jelly feeder into their respective slots on the perch for offering additional food types.
3. App Installation and Device Pairing
- Download the App: Scan the QR code in the user manual or search for the "NAVFS Bird Feeder" app in your device's app store.
- Create an Account: Follow the in-app instructions to register a new user account.
- Add Device: Power on the bird feeder. In the app, select "Add Device" and follow the on-screen prompts to connect the feeder to your 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi network. (Note: 5Ghz Wi-Fi is not supported.)
4. Mounting Options
The NAVFS Smart Bird Feeder offers versatile mounting options:
- Wall Mount: Use the mounting bracket, screws, and anchors to secure the feeder to a wall.
- Tree Mount: Utilize the provided strap to attach the feeder securely around a tree trunk.
- Pole Mount: The feeder can be mounted on a pole (maximum 0.97 inches diameter) using the appropriate bracket.
Ensure the solar panel is positioned to receive maximum direct sunlight throughout the day to maintain battery charge.

Operating Instructions
1. Live Video and Recording
Access the live 2K HD video feed through the app. The 160° wide-angle lens captures a broad view of your feeder. The camera supports both day and night vision, ensuring clear footage at all times.

2. AI Bird Identification and Notifications
The integrated AI system can identify over 10,000 bird species (30-day trial included). When a bird is detected, you will receive instant notifications on your smartphone, including the identified species.

3. Storage Options
The bird feeder supports two storage methods for captured video clips:
- Cloud Storage: A 30-day trial is included. Captured events are saved securely in the cloud.
- SD Card Storage: Supports up to 128GB SD card (not included) for local storage of recordings.

4. Sharing Access
You can share access to your bird feeder's live feed and recordings with family and friends through the app, allowing multiple users to enjoy the bird-watching experience simultaneously.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Regularly clean the feeder and camera lens to prevent mold, bacteria, and obstructions. Use a soft, damp cloth for the camera lens.
- Refilling: The 1.3L capacity seed container reduces the frequency of refills. Check seed levels periodically.
- Battery: The solar panel continuously charges the 5200mAh battery. In prolonged cloudy weather, manual charging via the Type-C port may be necessary.
- Weather Protection: The feeder is IP65 waterproof. Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed to maintain water resistance.
