4. Setup
4.1. Battery Installation
The device requires batteries for operation. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the dynamometer. Insert the required batteries (typically AAA, refer to the compartment label for exact type and quantity) ensuring correct polarity. Close the battery compartment securely.
4.2. Power On/Off
Press the 'START' button to power on the device. The LCD display will illuminate. The device will automatically power off after a period of inactivity to conserve battery life.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Taking a Grip Strength Measurement
- Ensure the device is powered on and the correct user profile is selected.
- Hold the dynamometer comfortably in your hand, ensuring your fingers wrap around the handle and your palm rests against the base.
- Press the 'START' button to begin a measurement.
- Squeeze the handle with maximum effort for a few seconds. The display will show your peak grip strength.
- The device will automatically record the peak value for the current user.

5.2. Switching Measurement Units
To switch between kilograms (Kgs) and pounds (Lbs), press the 'UNIT/▲' button while the device is displaying a measurement or in standby mode. The unit displayed on the LCD will change accordingly.

5.3. Recalling Previous Measurements
To view past measurements for the currently selected user, press the '▼' button. The device will cycle through stored results, typically showing the last recorded value and potentially other historical data depending on the model's memory capacity.

6. Maintenance
6.1. Cleaning
