This 1500-watt PTC ceramic heater is designed to provide efficient and rapid heating for various indoor and outdoor spaces, including patios, garages, workshops, greenhouses, and tents. Its compact and portable design ensures versatility and ease of use.
2. Important Safety Information
WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, read and understand all instructions before using this heater.
- Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
- This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Use handles when moving this heater.
- Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
- Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
- Always unplug heater when not in use.
- Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Discard heater, or return to authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.
- Do not use outdoors if not specifically designed for outdoor use. This heater is rated for outdoor use, but avoid direct exposure to rain or excessive moisture.
- To disconnect heater, turn controls to OFF, then remove plug from outlet.
- Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
- To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
- A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable vapors or liquids are used or stored.
- This heater is equipped with an automatic overheat protection system. If the heater overheats, the system will automatically shut off the heater.
- Ensure the heater is placed on a stable, level surface to prevent tipping. The stabilizing bracket helps maintain balance.
- This product is ETL certified, ensuring it meets recognized safety standards.

5. Setup Instructions
- Unpack the Heater: Carefully remove the heater from its packaging. Retain packaging materials for storage or if return is necessary.
- Placement: Place the heater on a firm, level, and stable surface. Ensure there is at least 3 feet (0.9 m) of clear space around the front, sides, and rear of the heater to any combustible materials. Do not place the heater directly under a power outlet.
- Power Connection: Ensure the heater is in the 'OFF' position. Plug the power cord directly into a 110V AC, 60Hz electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.

6. Operating Instructions
The Gardtech Portable Patio Heater features two control knobs: a Function Switch Knob and a Temperature Knob.
- Power On: Ensure the heater is plugged into a suitable power outlet.
- Select Operating Mode: Turn the Function Switch Knob to select your desired mode:
- Fan Only (25W): For air circulation without heat.
- Low Heat (750W): For moderate heating.
- High Heat (1500W): For maximum heating output.
- Adjust Temperature: Turn the Temperature Knob (thermostat) to set the desired heat level. The heater will cycle on and off to maintain the set temperature. Turn the knob clockwise for higher temperatures and counter-clockwise for lower temperatures.
- Power Off: To turn off the heater, turn the Function Switch Knob to the 'OFF' position. Unplug the heater from the wall outlet when not in use.

7. Maintenance

- Cleaning:
- Always unplug the heater before cleaning.
- Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces of the heater. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Gently vacuum or wipe the air intake and outlet grilles to remove dust and debris. Ensure these areas are clear for proper airflow.
- Do not immerse the heater in water or allow water to drip into the interior.
- Storage: When not in use, store the heater in a cool, dry place. It is recommended to store it in its original packaging to protect it from dust and damage.
8. Troubleshooting
If your heater is not operating correctly, please refer to the following common issues and solutions:
