1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Cangaroo Adoro 111035 Adjustable Baby Crib. This crib is designed to provide a safe and comfortable sleeping environment for your baby, offering versatility as a standalone crib or a co-sleeper attached to an adult bed. It features adjustable height, an anti-reflux tilt function, a mosquito net, and lockable wheels for easy mobility. Please read this manual carefully before assembly and use to ensure proper installation and safe operation.

2. Safety Information

WARNING: Failure to follow these warnings and instructions could result in serious injury or death.

• This product is suitable for children from birth up to approximately 6 months, or a maximum weight of 9 kg.
• DO NOT use this product for children who can already sit up, kneel, or stand unassisted.
• Always ensure all assembly fasteners are securely tightened before use. Regularly check for loose parts.
• When used as a co-sleeper, ensure the crib is securely attached to the adult bed according to the instructions. The side panel must be fully lowered and secured to the adult mattress.
• The crib is suitable for adult beds with a mattress height between 50 cm and 80 cm.
• Never leave a child unattended in the crib.
• Keep small parts and packaging materials away from children to prevent choking hazards.
• Only use the mattress provided by the manufacturer. Do not add a second mattress, as this can create a gap and pose a suffocation risk.
• Ensure the wheels are locked when the crib is stationary or used as a co-sleeper.

4. Setup and Assembly

Assembly is required for this product. Follow these general steps. Refer to the included assembly diagram for detailed visual instructions.

1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging.
2. Assemble Frame: Connect the aluminum and wood-look frame components. Ensure all connections click into place or are secured with the provided fasteners.
3. Attach Wheels: Insert the four lockable wheels into the designated slots at the base of the frame. Ensure they are firmly seated.
4. Install Fabric Bassinet: Secure the fabric bassinet to the frame according to the manufacturer's instructions. Ensure all zippers, snaps, or straps are properly fastened.
5. Insert Mattress: Place the provided soft mattress into the bassinet.
6. Attach Storage Basket: Secure the storage basket to the lower part of the frame.
7. Final Check: Verify that all parts are correctly assembled and securely fastened before placing your child in the crib.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Height Adjustment

The crib offers 7 height adjustment positions to match the height of your adult bed or for standalone use. To adjust the height, locate the adjustment mechanisms on both sides of the frame. Simultaneously press the release buttons and slide the crib up or down to the desired position. Ensure both sides are set to the same height level and click securely into place.

5.2 Anti-Reflux Position (Tilt Function)

The crib can be tilted by setting one side to a higher position than the other, creating a gentle incline of approximately 30 degrees. This anti-reflux position can help babies with reflux or congestion. Ensure the difference in height between the two sides does not exceed two levels to maintain stability.

5.3 Co-Sleeping Mode

To use the crib as a co-sleeper, lower one side panel completely. This side panel is designed to fold down, allowing the crib to be placed flush against your adult bed. Secure the crib to the adult bed using the provided attachment straps (if included) to prevent any gaps or movement. Ensure the adult mattress height is between 50 cm and 80 cm for safe co-sleeping.

5.4 Wheels and Locks

The crib is equipped with four wheels for easy movement. Each wheel has a locking mechanism. To lock a wheel, press down on the lever. To unlock, lift the lever. Always ensure all four wheels are locked when the crib is stationary or when your child is inside.

5.5 Mosquito Net

The included mosquito net can be attached to the top of the crib to protect your baby from insects. Ensure it is securely fitted around the entire perimeter of the bassinet to prevent gaps.

5.6 Storage Basket

The storage basket located under the crib provides convenient space for baby essentials. Do not overload the basket to maintain stability.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

6.1 Fabric Components

The fabric components (bassinet, storage basket, mosquito net) are made of 100% polyester. They can be spot cleaned with a damp cloth and mild soap. For deeper cleaning, refer to any specific care labels on the fabric. Do not use harsh detergents or abrasive cleaners.

6.2 Frame and Wheels

Wipe the frame and wheels with a damp cloth. Ensure all parts are dry before reassembly or use. Periodically check the wheels for debris and clean as necessary to ensure smooth operation of the locks.

6.3 Mattress

The mattress cover can typically be removed and washed according to its care label. The mattress foam can be spot cleaned with a damp cloth and allowed to air dry completely before reinserting into the crib.

7. Troubleshooting

• Crib feels unstable: Ensure all frame connections are securely fastened and both sides of the crib are set to the same height level (unless intentionally tilted for anti-reflux).
• Height adjustment mechanism is stuck: Check for any obstructions. Ensure you are pressing both release buttons simultaneously and applying even pressure.
• Wheels are not locking/unlocking: Check for debris in the locking mechanism. Ensure the lever is fully engaged in either the locked or unlocked position.
• Side panel does not lower: Verify that any safety latches or zippers are fully disengaged. Ensure there are no obstructions preventing the panel from moving freely.
