4. Setup Guide

Follow these steps to set up your Tapo C100 camera:

4.1 Download the Tapo App

Search for 'Tapo' in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, or scan the QR code in the Quick Start Guide to download the app.

4.2 Power On Your Camera

Plug in your camera using the provided power adapter. Wait for the LED indicator to blink red and green, indicating it's ready for setup.

4.3 Add Your Camera in the Tapo App

  1. Open the Tapo app and log in with your TP-Link ID. If you don't have one, create an account.
  2. Tap the '+' icon in the top right corner of the app to add a new device.
  3. Select your camera model (Tapo C100) from the list.
  4. Follow the in-app instructions to connect your camera to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.

4.4 Mounting Your Camera

The Tapo C100 can be placed on a flat surface or mounted to a wall or ceiling. Use the included mounting template and screws for secure installation.

  • Wall Mount: Use the template to mark screw positions, drill holes, insert anchors, and secure the camera with screws.
  • Tabletop: Simply place the camera on a stable, flat surface.

Once set up, you can access and control your Tapo C100 camera through the Tapo app.

5.1 Live View
