Setup

1. Charging the Earbuds and Case

Before first use, fully charge your Bose Ultra Open Earbuds and their charging case. The earbuds provide up to 7 hours of playtime (4 hours with Immersive Audio), and the charging case offers an additional 19.5 hours of battery life. A full charge takes approximately 1 hour.

• Place the earbuds into the charging case.
• Connect the USB-C cable to the charging port on the case and to a power source.
• The indicator lights on the case will show charging status.

2. Pairing with a Bluetooth Device

The earbuds use Bluetooth 5.3 for stable connectivity. Bluetooth multipoint allows seamless switching between devices.

1. Ensure the earbuds are in the charging case and the lid is open.
2. On your device, enable Bluetooth and search for "Bose Ultra Open Earbuds".
3. Select the earbuds from the list to pair.
4. For multipoint connection, repeat the process with a second device.

3. Finding Your Fit

The Bose Ultra Open Earbuds feature a flexible joint and a light-as-air-grip for comfortable, secure placement.

1. Hold the barrel-shaped part of the earbuds so the button is on top and the R (right) or L (left) marking is facing you.
2. Place the rounded end of the L-shaped part in your ear, then wrap the barrel around your ear so the barrel rests behind your ear.
3. Adjust each earbud so that it sits on your ear at about a 45° angle.
