4. Assembly Instructions

Assembly is designed to be straightforward. All necessary accessories and clear step-by-step instructions are included. Please follow these steps carefully:

  1. Unpack and Identify Parts: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Lay them out on a soft, clean surface. Refer to the included parts list to ensure all pieces and hardware are present.
  2. Assemble the Metal Frame: Begin by connecting the main metal frame components using the provided screws. Ensure all connections are snug but do not overtighten until the frame is fully assembled. The X-design crossbars should be installed on the back of the side frames for stability.
  3. Attach Wooden Panels: Secure the wooden shelves and top panel to the assembled metal frame. Pay attention to the orientation of each panel to ensure proper fit and alignment.
  4. Install Power Outlet: Integrate the power outlet unit into its designated slot on the top wooden panel. Connect any necessary wiring as per the diagram in the separate hardware instructions.
  5. Insert Fabric Drawers: Fold and assemble the fabric drawers according to their individual instructions. Slide them into the designated compartments. Ensure the small metal tabs are correctly oriented to prevent drawers from pushing in too far.
  6. Adjust Feet and Secure Anti-Toppling Device: Screw the adjustable plastic feet into the bottom of the metal frame. Adjust them by rotating to level the TV stand on uneven floors. Finally, attach the anti-toppling device to the back of the TV stand and secure it to a wall stud using appropriate hardware (not always included, check package contents).

5. Operating Instructions

Once assembled, your Fixwal TV Stand is ready for use:

  • TV Placement: Place your television centrally on the top surface. The stand is designed to accommodate TVs from 43 to 70 inches. For TVs with bases wider than 13.8 inches, it is recommended to use a separate TV bracket or mount.
  • Using Power Outlets: Plug the TV stand's power cord into a standard wall outlet. You can then use the two AC outlets and two USB ports on the top surface to power and charge your TV, game consoles, DVD players, audio equipment, and other electronic devices.
  • Storage: Utilize the open shelves for media players, soundbars, or decorative items. The three fabric drawers provide concealed storage for books, magazines, CDs, game cases, remotes, or other small items, helping to keep your living space organized.

6. Maintenance

To maintain the appearance and longevity of your Fixwal TV Stand:

  • Cleaning: Wipe surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the finish.
  • Spills: Clean up spills immediately to prevent staining or damage to the engineered wood.
  • Drawer Care: The fabric drawers can be spot cleaned with a mild detergent and water. Allow to air dry completely.
  • Inspection: Periodically check all fasteners and connections to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten if necessary.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues during assembly or use, refer to the following common solutions:

  • Missing Parts: If any parts are missing, double-check all packaging materials. If still missing, contact customer support with your purchase details.
  • Assembly Difficulties: Review the assembly instructions carefully. Ensure all pieces are oriented correctly. Do not force parts together. If holes do not align, check if components are installed backward or upside down.
  • Unstable Stand: Ensure all screws are fully tightened. Adjust the leveling feet on the bottom of the stand to compensate for uneven flooring. Verify the anti-toppling device is securely installed.
  • Drawers Not Sliding Smoothly: Check that the fabric drawers are correctly assembled and inserted. Ensure no obstructions are in the drawer compartments. Verify the small metal tabs are facing the correct direction to allow proper drawer movement.
  • Power Outlets Not Working: Ensure the main power cord is securely plugged into a functional wall outlet. Check if the outlet itself is receiving power. If the issue persists, discontinue use and contact customer support.
