4. Setup Instructions

4.1 Charging the Devices

  1. Connect the USB charging cable to the charging port on the bodypack transmitters and the signal receiver.
  2. Plug the other end of the USB cable into a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a power bank.
  3. The charging indicator LED will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged. A full charge takes approximately 1 hour.

4.2 Connecting Microphones to Bodypacks

  1. Choose either a headset microphone or a lavalier microphone.
  2. Insert the 3.5mm jack of the chosen microphone firmly into the 'MIC' input port on the bodypack transmitter.

4.3 Connecting the Receiver

  1. The signal receiver has a 6.35mm (1/4 inch) audio jack.
  2. Plug the receiver directly into the microphone input of your audio device, such as a power amplifier, mixer, PA system, karaoke machine, or computer.
  3. Note: It is not recommended for use with small speakers under 15 watts.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On/Off

  1. To power on the bodypack transmitter, press and hold the 'POWER' button until the display screen illuminates.
  2. To power on the signal receiver, ensure it is plugged into a powered device. It typically powers on automatically.
  3. To power off, press and hold the 'POWER' button on the bodypack transmitter until the display turns off. Unplug the receiver from the audio device to power it off.

5.2 Channel Selection and Pairing

  1. The system features 25 channels to prevent interference.
  2. To change the frequency on the bodypack transmitter, press the 'Up' or 'Down' arrow buttons.
  3. To quickly change the frequency, press both 'Up' and 'Down' arrow buttons simultaneously.
  4. The bodypack transmitter and receiver should automatically pair. If pairing issues occur, ensure both devices are powered on and within range.

5.3 Using the Microphones

  • Headset Microphone: Wear the headset microphone with the microphone element positioned near your mouth for optimal voice pickup.
  • Lavalier Microphone: Clip the lavalier microphone to your clothing, ideally near your chest area, for clear vocal recording.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

  • Wipe the devices with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

6.2 Storage

  • Store the system in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Ensure devices are fully charged before long-term storage to preserve battery life.

6.3 Battery Care

  • Recharge the devices regularly, even if not in frequent use, to maintain battery health.
  • Avoid completely draining the battery before recharging.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1 No Sound Output

  • Ensure both the bodypack transmitter and receiver are powered on.
  • Check if the microphone is securely plugged into the bodypack.
  • Verify that the receiver is correctly connected to the audio input of your sound system (amplifier, mixer, etc.).
  • Adjust the volume levels on your audio system.
  • Check battery levels on the bodypack transmitter.

7.2 Interference or Poor Sound Quality

  • Change the operating frequency/channel on the bodypack transmitter.
  • Ensure there are no strong sources of electromagnetic interference nearby (e.g., Wi-Fi routers, other wireless devices).
  • Reduce the distance between the transmitter and receiver.
  • Ensure the antenna on the receiver is unobstructed.

7.3 Short Transmission Range

  • Ensure the line of sight between the transmitter and receiver is clear.
  • Check for obstacles like walls or large metal objects that might block the signal.
  • Verify battery levels; low battery can affect range.
