4.2. Bit Installation
The drill features a keyless 13mm single-sleeve chuck for quick and easy bit changes.
- Rotate the chuck collar counter-clockwise until the jaws are open wide enough to insert the desired drill bit or screwdriver bit.
- Insert the bit fully into the chuck.
- Rotate the chuck collar clockwise to tighten the jaws firmly around the bit. Ensure the bit is centered and secure.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Forward/Reverse Selector
Push the selector to the left for forward (clockwise) rotation, and to the right for reverse (counter-clockwise) rotation. Position the selector in the center to lock the trigger and prevent accidental starting.
5.2. Variable Speed Trigger
The tool's speed is controlled by the amount of pressure applied to the trigger. Pressing the trigger further increases the speed. The integrated LED worklight will illuminate when the trigger is pressed.
5.3. Clutch/Torque Adjustment
The clutch ring has 12 positions, allowing you to select the appropriate torque for screwdriving applications or switch to drilling/hammer drilling modes. Rotate the ring to align the desired setting with the indicator mark.
- Settings 1-11: For screwdriving. Lower numbers are for smaller screws and softer materials; higher numbers are for larger screws and harder materials. The clutch will slip when the set torque is reached, preventing over-driving or stripping screws.
- Drill Symbol: For general drilling in wood, plastic, and metal. The clutch is disengaged, providing full power.
- Hammer Drill Symbol: For drilling into masonry and concrete. Activates the hammer mechanism for increased penetration.

5.4. Gear Selection
The gear selector allows you to choose between two speed ranges:
- Gear 1 (Low Speed, High Torque): Ideal for screwdriving and drilling large diameter holes in wood or metal.
- Gear 2 (High Speed, Low Torque): Suitable for fast drilling of smaller holes and general drilling applications.
Always ensure the tool has come to a complete stop before changing gears to prevent damage.
