2. Product Overview

The CAMCAMP SC49XA system is a complete wireless surveillance solution designed for both home and business security. It features a 10-channel Network Video Recorder (NVR) with an integrated 10.1-inch HD monitor and a 500GB hard disk drive (HDD). The system includes four 4-megapixel (MP) Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) Wi-Fi cameras equipped with two-way audio, spotlight alarm, and color night vision capabilities. The cameras offer 360-degree coverage and human tracking functionality.

4. Setup Instructions

4.1 Initial System Setup

The CAMCAMP SC49XA system is designed for easy plug-and-play installation. The cameras are pre-paired with the NVR, allowing for local operation without an internet connection.

  1. Power the Cameras: Connect each Wi-Fi camera to its respective power adapter and plug it into a power outlet.
  2. Power the NVR Monitor: Connect the NVR monitor to its power adapter and plug it into a power outlet.
  3. View Live Feed: The cameras will automatically connect to the NVR, and their live feeds will appear on the 10.1-inch monitor.

4.2 NVR Network Connection (for Remote Access)

To enable remote viewing and advanced features via the mobile app, the NVR must be connected to your home or business network.

  • Ethernet Connection: Connect one end of the provided Ethernet cable to the WAN port on the NVR and the other end to an available LAN port on your router.
  • Wi-Fi Connection: Alternatively, the NVR supports dual-band (2.4GHz/5GHz) Wi-Fi connection. Navigate to the NVR's network settings to connect to your wireless network.

4.3 Mobile App Setup

Download the 'CloudEye 365' app from your smartphone's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to add your NVR system for remote viewing and control.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Live View and Display

The NVR monitor displays live feeds from all connected cameras. You can switch between single-camera view and multi-camera grid view using the NVR's interface or the mobile app.

5.2 Recording and Playback

The system records continuously to the pre-installed 500GB HDD. The H.265+ video encoding technology optimizes storage space, allowing for extended recording periods.

  • Continuous Recording: The system records 24/7, overwriting the oldest footage when the HDD is full.
  • Event Recording: Motion-triggered recordings are also saved.
  • Playback: Use the NVR interface or mobile app to review recorded footage by date and time.

5.3 Motion Detection and Tracking

The cameras feature AI Humanoid Detection and Auto Tracking. When a human figure is detected, the camera can automatically track their movement and trigger alerts.

  • Configuration: Adjust motion detection sensitivity and define specific detection zones through the NVR settings or mobile app.
  • Alerts: Receive notifications via the mobile app or email when motion is detected.
  • Spotlight Alarm: The camera's integrated spotlight can be configured to activate upon detection, deterring intruders and enhancing color night vision.

5.4 Two-Way Audio

Each camera is equipped with a microphone and speaker, enabling two-way audio communication. This allows you to speak to visitors or deter unwanted individuals directly through the camera.

  • Activation: Activate the two-way audio feature via the NVR monitor or the mobile application.
  • Usage: Speak into your device's microphone, and your voice will be broadcast through the camera's speaker. Listen to audio from the camera through your NVR or mobile device.

5.5 Night Vision

The cameras provide 2K resolution night vision with both infrared (IR) and full-color options. The integrated spotlights enable clear color night vision when activated.
