Setup Instructions
- Power On: Connect the camera to a power source using the provided power adapter. The camera will power on automatically.
- Download the App: Download the 'Vicohome APP' from your smartphone's app store (available for iOS and Android).
- Create Account & Add Device: Open the Vicohome APP, register a new account, and follow the in-app instructions to add your new camera. Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network (5GHz Wi-Fi is not supported).
- Mounting (Optional): The camera can be placed on a flat surface or mounted on a wall or ceiling using the included accessories. For ceiling mounting, ensure the image orientation is adjusted in the app settings.
Operating the Camera
Live View and Pan/Tilt Control
Access the live video feed through the Vicohome APP. You can remotely control the camera's viewing angle with 355° horizontal pan and 100° vertical tilt capabilities to cover all areas of your room.

Two-Way Audio
The camera features a built-in microphone and speaker, enabling two-way communication. Use the app to speak through the camera or listen to audio from the camera's location.

Smart Motion Detection and Auto Tracking
The camera can detect motion, including human and pet detection. When motion is detected, the app sends a notification to your phone. The auto-tracking feature allows the camera to follow detected movement within its field of view.

MagicPix Night Vision
The camera is equipped with MagicPix Night Vision, providing clear video even in low-light or complete darkness, with an infrared distance of up to 32 feet.

One-Click Call
The camera features a physical call key. When pressed, it initiates a call to the paired smartphone, allowing for quick communication.

Recording and Storage
Video recordings can be stored either in the cloud (subscription may be required) or locally on a Micro-SD card (up to 128GB, not included). The app provides options for reviewing recorded footage.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera lens and body. Avoid using liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
- Firmware Updates: Periodically check the Vicohome APP for available firmware updates to ensure your camera has the latest features and security enhancements.
- Placement: Ensure the camera is placed in a stable location, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive moisture.
Troubleshooting
- Camera Not Connecting to Wi-Fi:
- Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. The camera does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi.
- Check Wi-Fi signal strength at the camera's location.
- Restart your router and the camera.
- Perform a factory reset using the reset button (refer to Figure 2 for location) and try pairing again.
- No Video Feed:
- Verify the camera is powered on and connected to Wi-Fi.
- Check your internet connection.
- Ensure the Vicohome APP is updated to the latest version.
- Motion Detection Not Working:
- Check motion detection settings in the Vicohome APP.
- Adjust sensitivity levels.
- Ensure there are no obstructions blocking the camera's view.
- Two-Way Audio Issues:
- Ensure microphone and speaker permissions are granted to the Vicohome APP on your smartphone.
- Check volume settings on both your phone and within the app.
