Operating Instructions

Operating your PowerSmart lawn mower is straightforward. Follow these steps for effective lawn care:

1. Starting the Engine: Ensure the fuel tank is filled and oil level is correct. Push down the top lever (bail bar) on the handle. Pull the starter cord firmly until the engine starts. The mower is designed to start easily, often on the first pull.
2. Adjusting Cutting Height: The mower features a 6-position height adjustment system, allowing you to set the cutting height from 1.5 to 3.9 inches. Use the single-lever adjustment mechanism located near the wheels for quick and easy changes.

3. 2-in-1 Cutting System: Your mower offers two cutting modes:
   • Mulching: For finely chopped grass clippings that return nutrients to your lawn. Ensure the side discharge chute is closed.
   • Side Discharge: For quick and easy cleanup of larger areas or taller grass. Attach the side discharge chute as needed.

5. Stopping the Engine: Release the top lever (bail bar) to immediately stop the engine and blade rotation.
