1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the BoyKeep Light Bulb Security Camera K10. This manual provides detailed instructions for setting up, operating, and maintaining your security camera. 4. Setup Guide

4.1. Initial Installation

1. Choose a Location: Select an indoor location with a standard E27 light socket. Ensure the area has stable Wi-Fi coverage.
2. Power Off: Before installation, ensure the power to the light socket is turned off at the circuit breaker to prevent electrical shock.
3. Screw in the Camera: Carefully screw the BoyKeep K10 camera into the E27 light socket until it is snug. Do not overtighten.
4. Power On: Restore power to the light socket. The camera will power on and initiate its startup sequence.

4.2. App Download and Connection

1. Download the App: Search for "EaseLife App" in your smartphone's app store (iOS App Store or Google Play Store) and download it.
2. Register/Log In: Open the EaseLife App and create a new account or log in if you already have one.
3. Add Device: Tap the "+" icon in the app to add a new device. Follow the on-screen instructions to select your camera model.
4. Connect to Wi-Fi: The app will guide you through connecting the camera to your Wi-Fi network. The K10 supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi bands for a stable connection. Ensure your phone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network during setup.
5. Pairing: The camera will emit a sound or light indicator during the pairing process. Once successfully paired, the app will confirm the connection.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Live View and Remote Control

Once connected, open the EaseLife App to access the live video feed from your camera. You can:

• View Live Feed: See real-time video from your camera.
• Pan and Tilt: Use the on-screen controls to remotely rotate the camera horizontally (Pan 355°) and vertically (Tilt 90°) to adjust the viewing angle.
• Two-Way Talk: Tap the microphone icon to speak through the camera's speaker and hear audio from the camera's microphone.

5.2. Motion Detection and Alerts

The K10 camera features smart motion detection. When motion is detected, the camera can:

• Send Real-Time Alerts: Receive instant notifications on your smartphone.
• Auto-Tracking: The camera can automatically track detected movement within its field of view.
• Record Footage: Automatically record video clips of detected events.

You can customize motion detection sensitivity and alert settings within the EaseLife App.

5.3. Night Vision

The K10 camera is equipped with full-color night vision, providing clear and vivid images even in low-light conditions. The night vision mode automatically activates as ambient light decreases.

5.4. Video Recording and Storage

The camera supports two primary methods for video recording and storage:

• Micro SD Card: Insert a Micro SD card (up to 128GB, not included) into the designated slot on the camera for local storage of recordings. The slot is typically located near the reset button, accessible by rotating the lens.
• Cloud Storage: The EaseLife App offers an optional cloud storage service (subscription may be required) for secure, off-site storage of your video footage.

You can review recorded footage directly through the EaseLife App.

• Cleaning: Gently wipe the camera lens and body with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.

• Wi-Fi Stability: Ensure your Wi-Fi network is stable and strong in the camera's location for uninterrupted operation.
• Power Supply: Ensure the camera receives consistent power from the light socket.
